Admission Essay Administrative Fellowship Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Administrative Fellowship For the past few years, I have upheld a conceptual steadiness in both my profession and academics in the pursuit of high-quality healthcare provision. As such, I have had a growing interest in becoming an administrative fellow. This burgeoning fascination is driven mainly by the opportunities brought forth by Administrative Fellowships. I believe such programs present immeasurable opportunities for high potential individuals, such as myself, to develop and fine-tune leadership and analytical skills. Moreover, the chance to serve under a senior administrator provides fellows with the best prospects to widen their perceptions and capabilities in administration. Knowledge gained through fellowship augment the capacities of participants in their existing positions and also lays a foundation for excellence in the future. Although there are countless reasons as to why I chose to follow a career path in healthcare, they are all linked to common underlying factors, which are intrinsic and extrinsic benefits and rewards. Herein, I have condensed these reasons into three major points and will describe each in brief. Firstly, there is immense job growth in this sector. According to a report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (2017), nearly half of the top 20 fastest growing occupations are in healthcare. These numbers translate to increased demand for health professionals and ultimately job security.
