Introduction

Evaluation of vehicular sound pollution based on Supreme Decree N.º 085-2003-PCM Regulation of Environmental Quality Standards for noise carried out in the province of Jaén, department of Cajamarca, 2016. In this thesis taken as a reference that had as its objectives to determine the level of risk of vehicular sound pollution; and, determine the equivalent limit of the area of ​​application of vehicular sound pollution based on Supreme Decree N.º 085-2003-PCM.

Among others, the following conclusions were reached: at the 13 noise evaluation points in the city of Jaén it was determined that sound pressure levels exceed the ECAS for vehicular noise in a commercial area during daytime; And, in the city of Jaén, areas with high, media high and slightly high noise levels were identified, which are mainly the vehicle roads with high flow, these areas do not meet the environmental quality standards for noise.

The conclusions reached in this thesis, among others, were the following: the level of ambient noise in the school environments is high; in more than 100% of cases exceeds the standard; The occupational noise level in the school environments is high and in more than 67 % of cases exceeds the norm considered as a reference; And, regarding the perception of workers with respect to the ambient and occupational noise present at the Trilce College, 94.5% said that at least perceived a disturbance related to noise and 5.5% of the workers, they said no.

 Evaluation of noise pollution in the Historic Center of Tacna through the elaboration of noise maps – 2016. In this thesis consulted, the author set out as objectives: to measure the sound pressure levels present in different parts of the Historic Center of Tacna; represent all these data visually through noise maps; Evaluate the sound pressure levels obtained with respect to D.S. 085-2003-PCM.

Estimate the difference between the acoustic behavior shown by the Historical Center of Tacna on a regular week day and a weekend as well as at different time intervals throughout the day; and carry out a study of the subjective perception of the population, towards the noise in the historic center of Tacna. The conclusions reached by the author of the thesis in question, among others, were the following: 

There are two ways that have sound pressure levels higher than other Bolognesi Avenue and Patricio Meléndez Avenue where the levels were 70 dB and 75 dB respectively; There are some areas where sound pressure levels exceed those established, so much so that, in the commercial area, the value of 70DB is exceeded. 

A sector of Bolognesi Avenue and on Patricio Meléndez Avenue, during the day period, in residential areas, and during daytime intervals, levels that exceed 60db are presented. In the areas surrounding Bolognesi Avenue and Pinto Avenue, during the night period, during the week there are no transgressions to the regulations or in commercial areas or in the residential, but, on weekends the ECAs are exceeded commercial zone.

Study of noise levels and noise ECAS in the main health centers, in the city of Iquitos, in December 2013 and January 2014. In this thesis taken as a reference, objectives were determined if the data obtained from the study; In health centers, they are within the environmental quality standard for noise; and, determine if the data obtained from the noise study; In health centers, during daytime and night schedule, it exceeds each other. 

After executing the investigation, the author reached the following conclusions: the daytime noise in the main health centers of Iquitos, Hospital de Iquitos, Regional Hospital and Essalud exceed the night noise, but, in the case of the Ana Sthal clinic, Night noise exceeds that of daytime noise; The average noise in all health centers exceed the environmental quality standards for noise, in special protection areas, established in Annex 1 of the D.S. N.º 085-2003-PCM.

 Sound impact assessment at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In this referential research the authors propose: identify the sources generating noise and determine their sound emission levels; Compare the sound levels with the limit values ​​established in the corresponding regulations or ordinances.

conclusion

Prepare a general map of the campus with the different noise levels, to elaborate an acoustic zoning that allows to evaluate these levels depending on the use of each area; and, propose environmental management plans aimed at minimizing the negative effects of sound pollution, leaving the basis for the possible implementation of an environmental management system incorporating the registry of noise pollution by noise. The conclusions reached by the authors of the thesis in question, among others, were: 

The noise maps show a cyclical trend, since there is a similar trend in terms of sound pressure levels on every day analyzed similar values ​​and color range; Noise levels are higher than those recommended for activities within campus according to national and international recommendations.
