It is not mandatory that the programmer codifies variable per variable, but with the help of a matrix can do so in a matter of minutes. For the economy, the matrices allow to guide the productive sectors, forecast the demands for production and decipher the economic relations of the sectors. The matrix algebra is in the working life of many professionals.
The operations that are most carried out of matrices are sum, subtraction and multiplication. As Ricardo (2013) explains to calculate what is the shortest distance between two points it is necessary to multiply the matrices to identify if it is possible to lessen the path. Therefore, throughout the day there are countless multiplications of matrices worldwide, because the inhabitants or transport companies constantly use their GPS. On the other hand, for the elaboration of graphics in the economy, finances tend to have high and low which includes sums and subtractions. In this way, production and demand can be analyzed.

Thanks to matrix algebra today we have modern tools such as GPS that helps transport companies and inhabitants. It is certainly essential that a student, essentially of engineering, handles what matrix algebra is, since it can become the basis for a project in the future.
