Name Instructor Course Date One Person’s Contribution to the Business Community As I contemplate the next step in education, my first choice is the University of California (USC). I am working toward a Master’s in Business Analytics, with specialization in quantitative research that focuses on a quantitative trading strategy. My research suggests that USC has the exact program I am looking for. I believe that my training at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) made me proficient in significant areas of quantitative and business modules. These include database design, mathematics and statistics, and financial courses. This skillset is valuable both locally and internationally. This level of expertise places me at a comparable level with those with more work experience. During my education, I participated in activities that improved my leadership skills. I served as the president of the Career Development Association for Undergraduates, and Financial Management clubs. I also organized a summer teaching program for poorly educated students in Tibet. This education program introduced these students to the fundamentals of business practice. This knowledge prepared them as potential entrepreneurs with the capacity and motivation to initiate small enterprises. As the president of the Financial Management Club, I provided weekly financial training on futures and stocks. I instilled in the students an appreciation of the value of future-oriented business thinking.
