Analysis of migration consequences in Venezuela
Introduction
Today people migrate from their country of origin, for different reasons, whether work, preferably, or even for security issues;and these migrations have consequences as much as in the place that is left, as to the place that is migrated, or even in the same people. In this essay I will specifically talk about the consequences that migration in Venezuela has had in terms of countries where people leave, as well as the consequences suffered by the same people who migrate and remain Venezuela.
Developing
Currently, both economic and political situation in Venezuela is critical. Its economy is deactivating the degree to which there is an inflation of 1700%today, which is a really shocking figure. But not only that the same people who are living in the country do not have basic foods and no longer find medicines in pharmacies, which sadly also affects health issues, since only imagining that there are adults, children and babies whoToday they do not receive adequate medical treatment, because there are no medicines and medical assistance; They die from the situation they live in their country. Another factor that does not hold that the situation improves in Venezuela is violence, last year the registered homicide rate became considered one of the highest in the world. (García Durán M) All this lets us reflect on how bad people are having in that country and the same causes of why they migrate to other countries in search of a better quality of life. According to García Durán M (SF) "It is estimated that it can be five or six million Venezuelans who have left".
As mentioned above the health system in Venezuela today is lousy, it could even be inferred, that there is no existing health system. So according to García Durán M (SF) today the people of Venezuela migrate to other countries to receive quality medical care. From women who are going to have their children to Colombia, because in Venezuela they do not serve them properly and clean;Even people with diabetes, high voltage, among many other diseases, which because in Venezuela there are no medications they need for their proper treatments, they have to migrate to different countries to continue their treatment and not die. Which leads to the borders in countries that are residents of Venezuela, are full of cases of Venezuelan people waiting for medical treatment. We could think that something as basic as a quality medical assistance system could never be missing so seriously to its citizens, but this only shows that a simple variable in the economic, government system, among others of acountry can lead to a crisis, which in certain cases such as Venezuela is catastrophic.
All this also leads us to analyze another consequence of migration in Venezuela, Venezuelans as immigrants in other countries. According to García Durán M (SF) today Venezuelans move between countries without much control since they are supposed to process permits to be in border areas for a month. But after this many of them move to other parts of the country, although many others maintain a constant movement between Venezuela and border areas. Those who stay in the other country as immigrants have only to get legal advice to try to get a job, but before this they have to survive. So border countries try to give them humanitarian aid, offering them food, medicines, hospitals, among other things. But the bad thing is that there are times when parents cannot get money to give their children a healthy eating to continue their studies. Which makes us think that no matter how much these people thought they were going to get a better quality of life by migrating, many of them continue to live in miserable situations.
Another factor that has Venezuelan migration in other countries is the fight for jobs. As Venezuelans move between countries, their main objective is the search for a better quality of life, and to achieve this they reach these countries to find a job that can give them a good income to live them and sometimes allhis family. But the detail enters that in the countries they arrive also there are people looking for job opportunities, so this becomes a work struggle between migrants and people from the same country, which leads to the fall of thesalaries, since there are more workers, salaries are reduced or stagnant- this phenomenon can also result in many cases the underemployment or unemployment of people. (Bermúdez A, 2019)
conclusion
Migration in Venezuela is a phenomenon that today has an impact on all countries in the world. As mentioned above, countries come to invest a lotPeople who migrate from their countries due to lack of security or job opportunities, but have academic training and tools to get ahead and provide economic benefits to the countries to which they reach. There are also countries whose growth rate is very low and when migrants arrive and populate their cities they help the country’s average age to fall considerably. Finally, I believe that the migration of people from both Venezuela and the rest of the world will continue to happen with the world so globalized in which we live.
