In her presentation, Sandberg is keen to tackle this issue with the depth it requires. This book is a form of inspiration to women as Sheryl talks about aspects of her life and that of other women who have made it and others who are making it work in the male-dominated world. After a long study of the coyness of the female in the work industry, Sheryl is driven to write explicitly to women asking them the question of what they would accomplish if they were not afraid. The realization that the change that came with the fight for women rights has opened numerous channels for the female in the world today results in a positive response to that question (Sandberg 1-20). The fact presented by Sandberg is that with the support of one another and getting rid of fear as well as self-doubt we can do so much even more than the men. Gender disparity is a global topic of study that has spurred a lot of talks even to the highest places of governance. The facts presented by this book are right in a world that nurtures women to believe there are specific ways to behave and act that is different from men. By addressing the women who are the ones who suffer from being discriminated against the novel is creating the desired impact of waking them from their shelves of lack of confidence to a world that is ready to accommodate their prowess.
