Introduction The phenomenal work done by many unsung heroines in Africa forms elements that ought to be considered recognized and brought to public domain. They present an opportunity to critically present their contributing elements towards sensitive issues affecting the society in Africa. The idea in this paper, therefore, intends to showcase the substantial contributions that result from the efforts of women in Africa continent. It seeks to encourage women in various fields to take responsible and challenging roles as they have massive abilities and potential. There has been a rise in the involvement of women in activities that were considered to belong to men. Women have participated in various sectors of the economy, social and political areas. Also, they report high productivity regarding their productivity despite the challenges faced as a weaker gender. The women changing Africa magazine will be published on a quarterly basis and distributed to reach communities in the interior areas of the continent. Therefore, the governments, regulatory authorities, international bodies, and the NGOs will have an opportunity to learn contributions by African women and the fight for female rights.
