Introduction
During the interactive oral activity, various aspects were presented on the work crime and punishment. This work was published in 1866, becoming one of the peak works of the Russian language and universal literature written by Fiodor Dostoevski. It is important to highlight that this work was written during Western European rationalism in Orthodox Russia, it was also influenced by the social situations of that time and was characterized by the literary current of Russian Russian. From this activity I can say that the social and literary context caught my attention.
Developing
Crime and punishment is a clear reflection of social existence in Russia: a period of poverty, because the bourgeois class was the category benefited taking advantage of those who established themselves and had a social status less than the rest, thus revealing the economic abuse of theother people. Russia lived in backwardness and misery, were the great families of the Russian nobility that became known throughout the world for the luxury in which they lived. In the same way I can emphasize that this novel by belonging to Russian realism;It had as peculiarity the technique of meticulous descriptions showing man impartially in his harsh reality, highlighting him with the greatest details, sequentially, and the use of some grammatical and semantic categories. On the other hand, thanks to the author’s descriptions, I managed to identify the background message: after the crime comes the punishment. In addition, the influence of the descriptions was evidenced by making the work in a clear and precise way.
In sum, I can say that through interactive oral activity I managed to develop a better understanding regarding the contexts that the author influenced by Russian realism showing significant situations and actions of the characters for the development of the subject. This activity allowed me to understand the work in its true dimension, so I consider an excellent teaching method to know in depth a work.
