Values that make up society
Society is the source of relationship between individuals, which is why man has generated certain guidelines in order to incorporate into this, an action governed by the basic rules and principles that this gender in order to orderthe social relations that he performs in his daily life within the community. Reason why different thinkers have directed the foundations of actions and have cataloged this individual capable of living in society as "citizen", because they differentiate it from the other categories that were within the doctrine and using the quality of man forbeing a "rational animal" arrive in order to establish this category;which is characterized by the application of ethical values and principles, as well as the duty to be that man enters to live in society.
Society is the way in which the human being has been constituted to live with his fellow men, this has given rise to the formation and evolution of the same coexistence system. Because man has evolved socially and scientifically, guiding principles or basis for coexistence have been generated;These are responsible for ordering society and the actions of each individual who is part of this.
Individuals are considered within a society as "citizens" being those in charge of directing this following the social guidelines, as well as the structures of the community;Since these have been coupling a thought system that has been articulated within the State, becoming responsible for carrying out the socio-political guidelines and approaches of society. Understanding this is that man has generated a theoretical framework with respect to life in society and as it is about command with the State and Law.
Understanding that law is normatively thought human coexistence based on justice. which are responsible for performing control functions within society, Kant closely links the notions of justice and external freedom, understood as autonomy or independence regarding the discretion of others. For Kant, justice, rather than a personal quality, is a collective ideal: peaceful coexistence between free people. Freedom differs from unfair arbitration – according to Kant – in which it can coexist with the freedom of others according to a universal maximum.
Taking as a starting point those said by Kant, we can begin to group principles that society has associated with its structure during evolution, having justice, freedom are basis for the collective ideal;But as it is established that it is not only important that society has these values, but in turn has a relationship with ethics and morals. Understanding in this way that the sources of knowledge of man are those that play a preponderant role within social actions, taking as the basis that man is a "rational animal" that imparts to his acts and social relations the reasoning and base intellect of base ofthe acts that he performs;This is why Ladrière establishes in his book entitled "Vie Sociale et Destinée" (social life and destination) where he states that:
“There is a close connection between reason and ethics, because reason is not only effort, in us, to understand the totality and decipher its meaning. It is also the power that makes us responsible for ourselves and the effort we are trying to match the demand that this responsibility shows. And it is that reason is not only what makes us participate in the universal, the place of a communication in principle without limits, but is also this secret place, in which in each life the unique call that concerns it is heard inhis most intimate being and decides what reason will ultimately and irrevocably make of herself ”
Thus specifying a more global idea about society and the use of reason within it, but even more the starting point established by Rousseau about how the citizen should be and how he had to act in society, because this not onlyHe had to be a free, good and happy being, but also had to be a moral and patriotic being;that based
In this thought guides the "citizen", not only to have these qualities and principles within their being, but also enters to look for the application of these "must", as Aristotle establishes in his "third book" inwhere it deals with the functions of the "citizen and her" must be ", stating that it is to stop an active participation in the actions of the State, so, to have all the qualities of a citizen.
