Teenagers today are communicated with everyone at an impressive speed, but is this good? Teenagers spend time being on their cell phone or tablet by reviewing publications and messages, the time they could do something for the good of society. They are in a period of rapid development and important of their life. This is worrying since it promotes anxiety and decreases self – esteem.

Teenagers are experts in being entertained by hours after school and before going to sleep, while they are not doing their homework or when they want to start doing them they lose concentration with their cell phone being online, sending text messages, sharing, causing, causing, causing,Seeing other people’s publications, etc. Before also the teenagers were busy talking with people through a phone or in person, but now it is no longer. Young people are learning to communicate while looking at a screen, not another person, as a consequence, this encourages lack of confidence when speaking in public, the person cannot do so since their nervousness will not allow them to express themselves in an adequate way.

There is no doubt that young people are missing very critical social skills. Somehow, sending messages and communicating online is not as if created a disability of nonverbal learning, but places everyone in a context of nonverbal disability, where body language, facial expression and even the smallest types ofVocal reactions become invisible.

A whole set of important changes in the lives of adolescents who depend on the use they make of social networks. These forge their identity not only under the influence of their parents and their friends, but of a social community that supports or ignores them. A radical change that will safely affect adults of the future.

The use of social networks is related to an increase in anxiety, depression and sleep disorders among young people.

The authors affirm that social media have revolutionized the way we connect with each other, and their use has become "an integral part of the lives of many people, connecting them worldwide with friends, family and strangers".

Social networks offer an edited version of reality, do not indicate it as it is.

Among the most recognized causes of social media addiction are low self – esteem, personal dissatisfaction, depression or hyperactivity and even the lack of affection, lack that adolescents often try to fill with the famous likes. In fact, many young people seek them almost compulsively to experience an intense sense of satisfaction that, however, can be counterproductive when making them dependent, in the long run, of the opinion of others.

The majority profile of the addict is that of a young man between 16 and 24 years old. Adolescents are those who have the greatest risk of falling into addition, according to experts, for three fundamental reasons: their tendency to impulsivity, the need to have a broad and expansive social influence and, finally, the need to reaffirm the identity of the identity ofcluster.

One of the solutions is that the person who goes through something like that is dedicated to a hobby, anything that arouses interest and trust (sports, music, drawing, etc.)

You have to recognize that not everything is bad on social networks. Young people are able to discover new ways of thinking (through readings on Twitter), they become aware of social and world issues (especially through YouTube), expand their ability to express themselves and find their own identity (with Instagram)And they are able to create and live in community, giving emotional support (with Facebook).

Young people can also learn a lot from and on social networks. It is important to know what to do: use them well!

Social media can improve access to health experiences of other adolescents and specialized health information.

Those who use social networks feel more emotionally supported through their contacts (approximately 7 out of 10 adolescents claim to have received support in social media during difficult times).

Social media can act as an effective platform for correct and positive self-expression.

In conclusion, social networks are not bad for us, but the excessive time we dedicate to doing it, the time we can do activities for the good of oneself, everything depends on the use that each of us gives to social networks, it is better that if we want to talk to someone who is in person, that encourages confidence in oneself and we will be happier and better prepared for success in real life.
