The truth in Philosophy

Introduction

Philosophy aims to subsist in our world by putting on the table the same issues that had been raised since ancient times; It is still a search for truth, a want to know what things really are, in the same sense that Socrates practiced it in Athens. But the story does not happen in vain. Philosophy has contributed decisively to building the enlightened reason and at the same time has taught to see its limits, both in a world and ours where science and technique and economy threaten to crush any decent form of life.

Developing

We know that some things about the truth are teachings of philosophy; For example, that, in a sense, the truth is ugly and terrible and that this ugliness is not something that has to do with science, because we know that this aspect of it cannot be rationally deduced. We can, so to speak, to talk about the ugliness of truth in a congress of philosophy, but we cannot make ‘appear’ here, because our speeches intend to be beautiful speeches that seek luminosity, transparency and clarity of reason.

Nothing is further from my intention to make you feel the ugliness of truth; For that, and also for other things, there are art and artists. Floor, then, that terrain of philosophy that states that there are aspects of truth that the philosopher cannot be resolved nothing to do with the man of science. Reducing the truth to two basic forms, the scientific and mythological is, without a doubt, a simplification, but through it I wantof science and the philosopher.

If the rational organization of existence is not enough to live, individual or collectively, is it inevitable, when destruction and nihilism appear by the horizon the ‘step back’ to myth, understanding by ‘myth’ a way of understanding thatIt has the possibility that the true order of things is not today or will ever be, but has been in another time and that, in the same way, the knowledge of today or tomorrow does not reach the truths that in another timeThey were known? The philosopher that has most influenced our time in the defense of a mythical way of truth has been, in my opinion, Martin Heidegger. So I will resort to him to know what we are talking about when we talk about really.

conclusion

Heidegger writes the truth, as the essence of the true, it is the universal. The ‘truth’ in the plural sense, on the other hand, ‘the truths’, the true individual, the true propositions, are ‘cases’ that fall under the universal. Nothing clearer than this. But there are different types of clarity and transparency, among others a transparency that lives that what is transparent in it is empty, that with it you think as little as possible and thus the danger of darkness is eliminated.

To which the video is related to the Heidegger and Plato, is that there is an essence between the true universally and that we both believe that we come to Earth to pay something that is sin, and we came to purge us. But each of them has a different perspective of how life is lived;Everyone has their own reality and knowledge, which helps us understand the life in a certain way
