The man was created based on the image and likeness of God, we are the product of what God wanted to project the moral and conscience content in a carnal content, which differentiates us from the other animals from the great creation. The frequent elements are consciousness and morals as a goal through the human being, the differentiating factor is what to possess or achieve these divine agents. In the case of Catholicism, it is to some extent to please God, since they govern our life and therefore we will be better human beings, since we will act correctly.
As for Greek thought, the objective is to reach divinity as the upper level that every human being must reach to transcend in life as such. What are the consequences of these similarities and differences? I consider that the consequences seen from the 2 perspectives are highly positive, since in the 2 cases the end is that the human being is better and exalts.
