The media and their links to politics
The media in El Salvador both television, written and radial are very important in the lives of Salvadorans through them we find news, informative, sports, etc. The political and content diversity gives the receiving population a large range of content and everyone chooses what most identifies it ideologically, unfortunately the media in El Salvador are very polarized (with trends to left orright).
In El Salvador there are about 150 radio stations, 15 television channels, 12 written newspapers, 25 printed magazines and 5 digital magazines, this returns to the media in part our daily life, the purchasing power they have is very influential,From here the care we must have of the contents we consume is born.
The media have the power to mold our behavior, thoughts and even our way of life, today it is rare to find odd media, their contents are always loaded in certain editorial lines that obey certain purposes, for example: there areMedia that have a tendency to consumerism, neoliberalism, a right -wing thought and there are also others that incite equal classes, socialism that is a leftist thought. Hence the care we must have that consumerism so that it does not negatively influence our behavior.
It is for that reason that today politics has been very intelligent and has joined the media so that they give them power to reach the population, such an impact refers to the influences that these entities exercise, that is, theMade of seeing, reading or listening to these contents that emit through the media guide the behavior according to them, because the policy itself is to give the population the greatest satisfaction so that the receiving population can be convinced and can vote forThey or to achieve empathy with them.

That through political propaganda during the electoral campaigns of deputies, mayors and presidents, but it can be mentioned that this influence has almost never been positive but negative for the simple fact that all political parties have commonly characterized themselves by creating propagandist campaigns withThe only purpose in manipulation of the minds of Salvadoran individuals with the purpose of getting votes, it is very clear that what characterizes each campaign is the image of the party and the image of the candidate and for that the media are present to makeThat the party and candidate looks as a good person and all this the candidate gets it by helping people, for example if this candidate helps an old woman the media do their best so that this person is as a great person before allthe Salvadoran population and achieve it through the means of advertising as newspapers and news.
As the media do so that they win more influences and the response is that the media influence the interviews with politicians where they clearly detail their proposals allowing them to publicize their party projects that benefit El Salvador and the population.
From a point of view, all television medium channels need to promote greater political investigation and analysis, because now the news is more simplistic and there is no strong base where communicators are sure what they are making known toIts audience and on the radio many broadcasters there are more interests to propaganda to a political party. The communication becomes commercial, they sympathize with who best pays them when he is a candidate and who guarantees millionaire contracts when they already exercise a public office.
Ideally, the media promoted the debate so that different political candidates can be expressed with equality and to make their words reach the population and these may be informed.
The social media cannot be and seem instruments l. It can be mentioned that the media have political ties and it is notable that each television, radio and newspaper channel are attached to politics and among them we can mention:
Salvadoran Telecorporation: Its political bond is sand that they make report and program to benefit the image of the party and almost always discredit the rival parties. For example when they were the elections for the presidency TCS made reports of Carlos Calleja candidate for the sand party.
The newspaper Co Latino: its political bond is the left (FMLN), it was considered the most open politically open medium that benefited said party.

In each election we see a party television war that buy in itself all the advertising aspects to promote, so that since years we see that the political party that places the most ads, is the one who almost always wins the elections.
To conclude the media should be impartial and should see a government organization that regulates that, forcing the media to place the same ads on television, radio and press written for example if they are three political parties would have to see aAnnouncement of each in the advertising spaces, as well as the debates as interviews should be like the United States giving the same chance to all without having preferences. Finally, the social receiver must have the decision and should not be influenced by a means of communication.
