The Little Prince, Book Summary and Film
Before exposing everything, the first thing is to understand the contexts, in which they will be explained with the summaries of the two works to Analyst, which are, the book of "The Little Prince", and the movie "The Little Prince" of 2015.
Book
The narrator presents himself as a man who learned when he was a child that adults lack imagination and understanding. He is now a pilot who has landed in a desert. He meets a small child who asks for a drawing of a sheep. The narrator, who calls the child the little prince, finds out that the child comes from a very small planet. In the course of the next few days, the Little Prince tells the narrator about his life. On his planet of asteroids, which is not bigger than a house. One day a rose grew on the planet, and the prince loves her with all her heart. However, his vanity and demands become too much for the prince, and he leaves.
The prince travels to a series of asteroids, each with an adult that has been reduced to a function. The first is a king who requires obedience but has no subjects. The inhabitant of the next planet is a conceited man. Subsequently, the prince meets a drunk. The fourth planet presents a businessman to the prince, who argues that he is the owner of the stars. Then, the prince meets a lantero, who require him to turn on a lamp every night and turn it off every morning, despite the fact that his planet revolves so fast that dusk and sunrise occur once per minute. Finally the prince reaches a planet inhabited by a geographer. The narrator and the little prince have spent eight days in the desert and they have run out of water. Then, the two cross the desert in search of a well that, miraculously, find. The Little Prince tells the aviator (narrator) that he plans to return that night to his planet. Returning to his planet requires allowing the poisonous snake to bite him. History resumes six years later. The narrator says that Prince’s body disappeared in the morning, so he knows that he returned to his planet, and wonders if the sheep who drew him ate his flower. He ends up imploring the reader to contact him if they ever discover the little prince.
Movie
History starts with a narrator, telling the story of Boa, with the elephant, and as adults forget to be children. Then you see a girl who wants to enter the academy and does not succeed from first. A girl and her mother move to a new house. The girl is very serious and mature for her age and she wants to study during the holidays following a program made by her mother for every minute. However, the program is forgotten, thanks to the eccentric neighbor. He destroys the girl’s house, trying to raise a plane she had in her patio. The neighbor teaches him the story of the little prince. Therefore, very good friends are made and spend a lot of time together, the girl begins her adventure in the universe of the little prince and thus discovers her childhood and discovers that the only thing that matters is the heart, with which many adventures pass, leaving aside All the duties that her mother forced her, until she realizes, and can no longer visit her friend, living a very lonely life, scheduled for every minute.
Until the girl gets bored and realizes that she can’t live like this, she goes to her neighbor, and asks her to tell her the end of the history of the little prince, and realizes the tragic end of the story, getting angry and moving away again of his friend, only until the old man is an accident, and the girl decides to go looking for the little prince, flying the plane that the neighbor had in his patio. Finding the adult prince, which had forgotten everything. The girl does everything possible to remind the little prince who she really is, taking him to her planet, becoming a boy again. The girl returns to her house and is going to visit the old friend to the hospital, giving him an ecuadernation of the history of the little prince that he had drawn. Ending the story with a much more united mother and daughter and looking at the stars, listening to the little prince’s laugh at the bottom.
