THE INDUSTRIAL-HOBSBAWN REVOLUTION

In Great Britain of 1750 the background of one of the most important events in global history begin. Eric Hobsbawm, famous British historian of the twentieth century, makes a time in time, not only explain why it was in this precise space where this event occurred and not in another, but also, to understand how this transformation remained and the impact withother nations. The "industrial revolution" was a name that could have been put before the Anglo -Saxon country. While tensions between France and England are true, on the one hand, France always stood out in the natural sciences, on the other hand, Great Britain was a step forward in an economy and merchandise, a fundamental and necessary part for the Revolution. In other words, this advantage that Britain had helped to consolidate the historical fact, there were no great intellectual efforts, of facts, inventions were quite modest. Other factors were the indispensable factors for the took off.

The 18th century was a favorable time for almost the entire European continent. However, in Great Britain it had an advantage, the passage from the countryside to the city, in a kind of agricultural revolution, helped to lack the work necessary the future great industries of the "Industrial Revolution". This change by effect increased the population at a level never seen before, that is, an ideal population growth for the moment. That is, there was already a labor hand, but for the birth of the industry a group of British businessmen who had the idea of buying products in the cheapest market and selling it in the most expensive. Thus, little by little these subjects were enriched, recovering their investment in huge amounts and in search of monopolizing the world market. The takeoff or "take off" (1780-1800) will later be seen with the birth of the cotton industry and in a way will end with the railroad.

Before the cotton industry existed in Britain, cotton came from India, however, this was not beneficial for the expansion of the English market. This was the reason to take protectionist measures and gradually get India out of the market. At this point the colonial expansion and slavery were perfect to start with cotton production in the industry. This product became so important that if the cotton trade declined in the same way the economy was done. It is not that other industries were not essential, but in the case of cotton to the poorest they needed clothes to live.

However, not everything was good, for the eyes of the economy nothing could be better, on the other hand, for workers this had been the beginning of labor exploitation and suffering. Not only protests and movements arose from farmers who were against industry, also the workers of the middle class disagree with their situation. The point where the destruction of the machines became inevitable, since it considered that this was the origin of its tragedy. The forced capitalist crises also emerged, which despite the fact that under the gain of products to England I do not affectionate so much. Here came another hard blow for the proletariat in terms of Marx. The owners of the industries decided to reduce costs, this meant, look for cheaper hand (children, women) and improve the industry for greater production. At this point, the cotton industry was still important, however, other industries could not highlight. This was the case of metallurgical especially in the case of iron. On the other hand, an industry that did highlighted was mining, specifically that of coal. The need for a means of transport that was not maritime gave way to the arrival of the railroad. It can be said that it was one of the most practical industrial revolution products for the world. In short, all this long historical event shows us that the different factors that arrived together and at the exact momentworld workshop.
