THE IMPORTANCE OF DECISIONS IN THE MYTH OF ANTIGONA

Following these decisions both those taken by Antigone and those taken by Creon, a series of tragic events are triggered, since Hemon son of Creon had decided to commit to Antigone and upon learning that her father had sentenced her to death, she facesHe, then the king is visited by a prophet who makes him see that his actions are leading to a tragedy, that is why Creon orders them to release Antigone, but by the time they arrive it is already too late because she had committed suicideAnd Hemon had been one of the first to realThe death of his son and decides to do the same.
In conclusion, we see that all decisions made by the parties to do the right and others for having power, led their actions to have tragic consequences in the lives of all.
