The colonization of America began at the end of the 15th century, when Christopher Columbus arrived in American territories in 1492 with the help of the Royal Crown of Castile, from that moment on several empires such as Spanish and Portuguese began their conquests and in the seventeenth century later laterthat Columbus discovered America the British Empire, France and the Netherlands also made their own conquests. The conquests were to explore, obtain more territories and settle in new land

The Spanish conquest was the most important and highlighted among the most. With the conquests and riches of America, Europe grew, agricultural products such as corn, cocoa, tomato and potatoes that were well received in Europe were taken, they also brought new agricultural products to America such as olive tree, almond, rice, sugar and wheat cane, farm and cargo animals and an agriculture apparatus that was the wheel cart, in addition the minerals exported from America, the minerals (silver and gold) were very important and they spy that the economy theregrew in a very favorable way. The results that occurred through the conquest were the diseases brought unconsciously by European people for example smallpox, it was a disease that had great impact and made the American population decrease, since since it was a new disease, indigenous people diedFor not having a cure, in addition, Europe also had the same problem, a new American disease came to its continent called syphilis and in the same way it had a strong influence and loss of population. The conquest also brought new languages to the American continent as the Spanish and Portuguese language in the respective conquered areas, in addition Catholicism became an official religion. There was also the loss of languages, cultures and discrimination towards the indigenous people from Europeans, they brought African people to our continent of which very few managed to arrive, in order to establish slavery. In a favorable way the conquest began communication and trade between Europe and America.

The colonization of America brought good and bad aspects, in good technology, education, commerce and communication that helped indigenous people favorably, in the bad aspect is that it brought disease that greatly affected the indigenous population, in addition to taking raw material belonging to our continent in order to benefit them. The conquest resulted in miscegenation giving rise to mestizos, mulatto, zambos, among others. The conquest until today is not over since other countries do it indirectly either with their new customs, thoughts, ways of dressing and especially in technology
