The Beatles in Spain in 1965 and its impact
In July 1965, the Beatles Music Group is going to play Spain in search of its fans. Paul McCartney still remembers the 70 hours that passed on Spanish soil. During those days John, Paul, George and Ringo gave their concerts only in Madrid and Barcelona and played 24 songs where many people attended. In these concerts you could see flag bearers who defended freedom.
At that time the regime tried to not remember this anecdote. During this event there were conflicts between fans and non -fans of the Beatles. Being for this reason is nonsense, I only think that you have to respect the two opinions. Also during the concerts there was the presence of a lot of police that scared a little, but it was a security measure.
Before all this, the Beatles group when it was not known began in England and over time it extended to the rest of the world. And that the Beatles came to everyone was a change in spectacular music. I agree that many things changed.
At the end of 1963, John Lennon addresses the public and the British royal family in a concert. Later in 1964 the film is released what the night on that day based on the Beatles in Madrid. People loved and surely enriched much culturally.
A little after this, at the end of the year, Francisco Franco gives a speech with government plans for the following year. The plan that Franco applied caused the quality of life to improve in general. This decision that Franco made was correct trying to improve the country and making families allow more luxuries.
Time passed and the Beatles took a lot of reputation in Spain but the regime did not like it because he did not like his message. For this reason they tried to not become popular in Spain. At the end of 1964 the Beatles begin to succeed in Spain. Fans clubs are created and their albums are sold. Time passes and the Beatles concerts in Madrid and Barcelona are announced thanks to the promoter Francisco Bermúdez.
Bermúdez organized everything and chose as site of the event the bullring and if it had not been by a minister the regime would have prohibited action. Here my opinion remains the same that must be above the right of freedom of expression and the performance of the Francoists is bad?
On July 1, 1965 the Beatles arrive in Spain. From this arrival of the Beatles in Spain a documentary wanted to make what happened during the visit of the Beatles. But instead of improving the image of the Beatles the creators of the documentary discredited their image. I also think that the regime for those years remained cruel causing the appearance of the Beatles, to not have so much impact on the image they gave.
