On the other hand many people only associate technology with computers and software. However, it is related to different fields of science, computer science, innovation, discovery, invention and design, involving people, infrastructure, processes ’
With the passing of the years we have evidenced that it has had significant advances offering better living conditions for society. One of these is the possibility is to interact through networks or internet with equipment such as computer, telephone or any other electronic device, with the ability to store, process and transmit information.
It is also said that the different technological innovations throughout history have been modifying people’s lives. Technology has allowed us to have a fixed residence place, instead of leading a nomadic lifestyle that forced to move. In addition, writing, printing or internet, has made it possible for us.
However, technological activity has an impact on our environment very difficult to provide and can have a negative consequence for our environment: as is the weapons of mass destruction, where technology helps in the manufacture of weapons of war that requires evidence;So, when these weapons reach criminals, they can use them for selfish reasons causing a lot of damage to society.
As for social isolation, this is increasing.
We see that as a society advances more in the technological field, people begin to depend more on computers and other forms of technology for their daily existence, this means that when a machine breaks people can become almost useless people, until the problem is solved, this kind of dependence in technology puts us at a different disadvantage, because we become less self-sufficient beings.
We also find that while technology advances in industries and works, human workers have less value, machines automate processes and can do the work of people with a single computer;Companies could not need to use so many people to carry out a job to the extent that machines and computers become increasingly advanced and more efficient, this will continue to become a great disadvantage of technology and will be a problem that implies a global impact.
Likewise, the augmented dependence towards modern tools, such as calculators, has reduced creativity;This can be clearly observed both in young people and in adults, they cannot generally make a simple equation without the help of a calculator, etc. It affects the way humans use their brains and reduces the level of creativity.
But the good use of technological tools with the continuous expansion of teaching-learning processes has always been instilling through class classrooms, promoting changes that affect the solution of the problem that is currently presented in the country’s education.
It should be noted that educational technology facilitates the understanding of programs content, illustrating the subject with fixed or interactive image, as well as electronic presentations that allow students to be motivated to be autonomous and build their knowledge.
They are concluded that technological advances have not had borders, they have changed economic, cultural and other social conditions of countries;thus raising the standard of living of humanity by being present in the daily life of society through education, health, thus improving production systems, the media and transportation.
