Study of the Homero work
Introduction
This work, called at the origin of the corporeality, presents a wide theme. It is a study of Homer’s work, of the classic of universal literature, the Iliad. Through this study several disciplines and several concepts focusing on the descriptions of the body and the moments in which these descriptions appear. The body is something that is present throughout all work. Now, under my criteria and after having read the article, the body cannot be understood as something physical, but as an entity that goes beyond, encompassing thought, death, nature, psychology, etc.
Developing
The article also includes other branches such as philosophical thinking and an important part in rational thinking: the passage of myths to logos. We are told about nature, which is something that encompasses everything, even the gods. Nature is the order that governs the world, beings are tied to it and this is what unites all beings. We also have the appearance of war, what this means to this society. War is the product of society, it is linked to politics, since as Aristotle said: man is a political animal.
Discourse links with the importance of language. Do not forget that the Iliad and the Odyssey are two works that were transmitted orally until they were put in writing. With this, language is important to convey events. Here is the emphasis of the narration, intentionality and the objective of the same. A language that tries to convey and make feel.
Leaving this and other details behind, we focus on the physical descriptions in the Iliad. They are not descriptions to use, but, as we see in the numerous examples that the author gives us in the text, they are detailed, detailed, indicating an anatomical and physical advanced knowledge. We see this above all at the time when some hero is injured or killed. These are descriptions that seek to move, seek to mitigate the actions of the characters. I put for example all this the description of Ayax’s death. Not only is the author who makes these descriptions and shows the deep knowledge about the body, but the Iliad characters themselves serve as doctors.

Without a doubt, this article is a reference work, under my perspective, to start in the Homeric world. It is a work that clearly points out what the sense of language is in the work and the importance of the body in this culture that is currently beginning to bloom. It is someone with anatomical knowledge that shows the harsh reality of war wounds while some remedies to treat them. These descriptions will be subsequently staged by Greek art to witness the value of these immortal heroes.
