Introduction

According to his thesis entitled: “Stress and job satisfaction” study conducted with the collaborators of footwear, clothing, electronic and appliances of the Pradera Xela shopping center, at the Rafael Landívar University, Guatemala. The objective of the research is to publicize the levels of stress and job satisfaction in the company that provides services, and had as its main objective to establish how stress affects the job satisfaction of the collaborators of the Pradera Xela shopping center in Guatemala.

 The problematic situation according to the author is that stress is in the work environment and this can cause the absence of employment satisfaction of collaborators. This investigation was descriptive for which the Likert scale was used, which was made to thirty -nine collaborators, sixteen men and twenty -three women oscillating between eighteen and thirty -five years of age. 

Developing

It was obtained as a result that 36% of the population surveyed says that it is importantThey never care to give good attention to customers, which reflects stress due to the absence of worrying about being competitive. 

In addition, it was obtained that the level of stress is moderate and mostly collaborators if they percestress is moderate and a considerable level of job satisfaction. 

According to his thesis entitled: “Relationship between job satisfaction, work stress, recovery strategies, perfectionism and work performance in Bogotá hairdressers”, at the University of La Sabana, Bogotá. The objective of the research was to determine if there was any relationship enters job satisfaction, stress, recovery strategies, perfectionism and work performance in hairdressers. 

This research had its sample between hairdresser and hair technicians, who are fifty-seven men and fifty-three women, five instruments were used in the investigation: the Shirom-Melamed Burnout Measure questionnaire, the questionnaire, the questionnaireof recovery experiences, the multidimensional scale of perfectionism and the percentage of compliance with labor goals. 

It was found that there are positive relationships between age and stress;There are also positive relationships between recovery strategies, perfectionism and stress, in men and women;and negative relationships were found between recovery strategies and stress in men;and negative relationship between satisfaction and stress in women. 

It was also found that negative correlations with satisfaction and recovery strategies;and there is a positive correlation with perfectionism;Labor performance did not present significant correlations with the other variables. In conclusion, according to the author, it is important.

According to his thesis entitled: “The work stress and its effect on the performance of administrative workers of the Commercial Management Area of Electrosur S.A. In the 2015 period ”, at the Private University of Tacna, Peru. The objective of this research was to determine the effect that between the work stress and the performance of administrative workers of Electrosur S.A. And as specific objectives it had: 

  • Examine what work stress factors affect firsthand the performance of electrosur workers.
  • Evaluate the performance it performs and its effect on Electrosur. 

The problematic situation according to the author is that stress is an adversary of companies so that they perform in the best way, in addition, work stress is one of the main causes of low levels of efficiency in production and low qualityCustomer service. This investigation had administrative workers in the commercial area of Electrosur S.A. Being these 32 workers between administrative and operational, the type of research that was used was descriptive, since it was oriented to know the situation that generates work stress and why it seeks to improve the performance of the workers.

The present research used as an instrument the collection of data through the survey, this was anonymous and a SPSS statistical software was used. The research resulted in work stress if the work performance of administrative workers significantly affects.

 Originated by a labor recharge, which is perceived by 59.4% of the workers surveyed, 78.1% of the workers surveyed perceive that there is a lot of demand in their work performance and finally it was obtained that to improve productivity levelsof electrosur s workers.A. Stress prevention must be implemented to improve job performance, which includes knowing how to identify stressed factors.
