Social and biological problems facing adolescents
Introduction
This essay shows an important point and that is key in this issue, is that young people seek their identity, and on certain occasions they tend to fall into acceptance, this leads them to do things that at an extreme point becomes suffering and limitationWhen they reach the point of total rejection, depression begins, this leads to being lonely, changes in adolescents that are so radical are noticed.
The purpose of this essay, with respect to this issue, is to realize and pay more attention to adolescents, since we often do them aside and do not realize what is happening in your life.
And most of the time we let so much time that when we are least we are about to suicide for so many problems or only one, but that are quite strong, and obviously this is going through a process of a lot or little time. (Berenice, S.F.)
If we realize it is an issue that is being seen in these days, and that society is gradually damaging, we have heard “young people are the future of Mexico”, and let’s really see how our teenagers are, let’s thinkWhat future awaits our country and if we want that. If our answer is negative, then we must pay more attention to our teenagers/young people.
Adolescence is a period in biological, psychological, sexual and social development immediately after childhood and that begins with puberty. It is a stage in which young people assume new responsibilities and experience a new feeling of independence.
Teenagers face a series of pressures during the journey towards maturity and independence.
Most of the information, in other sources, describe adolescence as something biological and psychological, and has a lot to do, but like I think it has enough with the process that the young man is happening.
One of the points that we will play in this essay, as mentioned above in the description, are: depression, loneliness, violence, low self – esteem, and rejection, etc.;This to be able to understand more the context of our topic to address, develop and describe more in detail each of these points that are of great importance to know and have alert.
One of the objectives of this is to give the importance to adolescents, and their problems. Hopefully this essay is of great help for anyone who reads it, and that the adolescent/young man see and realize the risks, who knows that there are people who still think of them. (Indo -American, 2017)
Developing
The adolescent faces the problem of competing for a social status and this can affect it, since he needs to feel with a degree of dependence, depending on a group of friends and many times when he feels that he does not fill the expectations enters a periodof conflict. (Vallmont, 2017)
One of the most notable problems in adolescence is stress, and some of the causes that cause this are the following:
- Academic demands and failures
- Negative thoughts about themselves
- Changes in your body.
- Problems with partners of the institute or bullying
- Live in a problematic neighborhood
- Their parents’ couple problems – fights, separation or abuse
- The death of a loved one or a pet
- A move or a change of school
- The realization of too many activities
- Economic problems in the family
But also in adolescence changes arise, the adolescent acquires the ability to understand the problems, but as commented, many researchers say that the development of intelligence depends a lot on the social environment where the adolescent operates, for example the neighborhood in theThat he lives, if he lives in a neighborhood with many conflicts around, this affects his intelligence, but if he develops in a quiet environment and surrounded by things that help him, this will help the young man to develop his intelligence, sinceYou will find a positively motivated. Other things that the teenager forms is his self – esteem. This is formed to the passage of our entire life.
Due to all the physical and psychological changes he suffers, the adolescent can enter his self – esteem. (Mexico, 2017)
Low self – esteem is when we have no confidence in ourselves, or we create a negative image. They can become lonely people, they move away from their friends and their relatives. School failure may come, since they do not feel able to carry out the activities, they do not dare to participate or simply are afraid to ask.
But there are also people who interpret the lack of self – esteem in another way, they want to get attention or take behaviors that damage them as smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc.
And on the contrary.
As we have seen, the teenager faces too many sudden changes in his life, new problems of which he had no knowledge, and due to all this type of changes in adolescence, several problems can be approached, as already mentioned aboveAdolescent stress is one of the outstanding problems of this stage, depression is also one of the problems of this stage. Depression occurs because the young man feels unable to solve the problems that are in front of him, for having a low self – esteem and this leads to another problem that is the lack of control referring to alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc.
Also due to the changes that the body suffers, the young man can feel a bit disoriented and the problems such as bulimia and anorexia come, since he feels the need to fit into some group of society.
In the case of adolescents who move away from their classmates and tend to fall into school failure, some study methods that will benefit not only these types of people, but to all people who occupy new ways to study. (Information, 2019)
conclusion
In conclusion, it can be seen very clearly that adolescence is not an easy stage that young people face, if you do not take care with all the problems they can face, the adolescent can be lost and fall into some of themost common problems faced at this stage, which were already mentioned above.
A way to live adolescence more peacefully, is that the young man lives with a high self – esteem that allows him to develop successfully throughout his social environment. (Martínez, S.F.)
