Situations of maximum tension in the Crimea Conflict
One of the main scenarios of the conflict that occurred in the Crimean Peninsula, are the first and successive revolts of the Maidan, caused by the instability of the Ukrainian people before the refusal of President Viktor Yanukovich to establish negotiations for a possible entry to the European Union byfrom Ukraine. These revolts began on November 21, 2013 and were renamed "Euromaidan", in which Ukrainian citizens sought an increase in the standard of living of the Ukrainian people as a whole and of course, claimed the country’s entry to the union to the unionEuropean to allow free trade between countries of the continent and defend the honor and freedom of the Ukrainian country, as one of the protesters through the media: Daniel Iriarte. These rebellions came accompanied by various threats of revolts against the Ukrainian government to defend the right and freedom of citizens, there are multiple human losses in the conflict that ravaged the Crimean Peninsula, since it was the geographical area where they most concentratedThese civil protests and what caused the Russian government to have Russian military troops to the Sevastopol and Crimea peninsula to defend all that Russian population that was there, given the disagreement of this movement of the international landscape.
On March 18, 2014, Vladimir Putin reached an agreement with the different leaders of the cities of Sevastopol and Crimea for adhesion again and after 60 years, of the Peninsula to the Russian people again through the declaration of VladimirPutin after his signature in the Jorge Hall of the Kremlin City in which he found: Fernández, R. (2014). Putin signs Crimea’s annexation to Russia. 18-4-2014, from El País “Crimea has always been and will continue to be part of Russia. This conviction is based on truth and justice ”…” and in the case of Ukraine, our western partners have passed the line, they have acted primitively, irresponsibly and not demand professional."And he concluded by asking the Russian Parliament:" I forward the request to accept two new members of the Federation in Russia: the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol ". In this speech Vladimir Putin showed his great discontent with the interference of the United States in the conflict.
