Siginified of the Bible and its origin: Old Testament

Introduction

According to the National Pastoral Plan: the Bible comes from the Greek Bible that means written daughter or written rolls. Data from 900 to. C. and 100 D. C. At first they were separate documents called books; writings first in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. This is divided into 2: Old and New Testament. With the total of 66 books (39 of the old and 27 of the new).

Developing.

The Old Testament: It originates around 450 to.C. It is divided into 3 parts: Pentateuco, historical and prophetic. The first group or book that was written was the Torah or the Pentateuch and is made up of the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These speak of the departure of the people of God from Egypt to the promised land. The majority were written by Moses, except for the last eight verses of Deuteronomy that describe his death.

Of the historical are: Joshua, Judges, 1 and 2 of Samuel, 1 and 2 of Kings, 1 and 2 of Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Tobias, Judit, Ester and Ruth. Ruth belongs in the final section to the Hebrew Bible, is inserted between Judges and Samuel. Joshua’s book was written by Joshua, the book of Judges and Samuel was for the prophet Samuel, while the two books of Kings were written by Jeremiah. Ecclesiastes’s book usually dates back to the mid -3.Er Century Before Christ. The author of this.

From the poetics are: Job, Psalm, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Cantar de los Cantares. He tells us about Job, a man who loses his children, belongings, health. But none of this weakened his faith with God (although sometimes he complained). In this we are taught how Satan uses his tricks, how is the character of God, and how we should act before his proof of him.

Proverbs: A proverb is a brief statement that communicates an ethical and moral truth. Teaching through these originated in the East and is one of the oldest forms of instruction. The book contains these, parables and comparisons that help apply God’s wisdom to everyday life. The declaration "The principle of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah" establishes the basis for the behavior model of the children of God. This book contains collections grouped by: Proverbs of Solomon, sayings of the wise, words of Agur and Lemuel (Reyes), and the virtuous woman.

Ecclesiastes: means the speaker or the preacher. This book contains the teachings of a famous speaker. Most of this book speaks of the life of a person who does not have God in his heart. This book teaches us that material things are not forever, parties always end, mentions vanities as something passenger. It is believed that it was written by Solomon before his death.

Cantar de los Cantares: This book can be given different interpretations, (one literal and an allegorical one). This was written by Solomon. He recounts the affection between the husband and the wife, the wedding courtship, the dreams of the wife, the praise and the wishes of the husband for his spouse. The other way to interpret it is that it reflects the symbol of God’s great love for his people.

Of the prophetic are: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezequiel and Daniel. The New Testament: It is divided into the Gospels, Historical, Epistles and the Apocalypse. In the Marcos Gospels he was written first; The authors of Mateo and Lucas were based on him. The studies agree that John’s Gospel was the last letter. Lucas also wrote facts of the apostles. In the historical ones they are made of the apostles who narrate what the apostles had to face in the course of the formalization of the Christian Church.

Epistles are divided into 2: generals and Pauline. In the Paulinas many of the letters written by Paul are gathered to the different churches. And they are fourteen letters: Epistle to the Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 and 2 Thessalonians, 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, and Hebrews. And the second epistle (the general), made up of 7 books, are the main letters of the apostles about Christian doctrine. They are: Santiago, 1, 2 and 3 of Juan, Judas and 1, 2 of Pedro. The Bible New Testament contains a prophetic book, called Apocalypse, written by John, where some revelations of what would be the end of time and the second coming of Christ are exposed.

Conclusions.

The last chapters tell us how their prosperity was restored. Psalm: His title in Hebrew means praise and within the Jewish books is the most important of all. This book covers topics such as: creation, word of God, trust, suffering, spiritual conflicts, thanksgiving and communion with God. Some of these have direct reference to the Messiah. Everyone offers a model to worship and praise the Most High, for repentance, confession, restoration and prayer. It contains 150 poems and 70 of these are attributed to King David.
