Poems analysis of Garcilaso de la Vega
The poems "while pink and lucena" by Garcilaso de la Vega and "while competing with your hair" by the poet Luis de Góngora and Argote share the poetic composition of Italian origin;Both poems are sonnets.

This makes the most erotic sonnet and also gives him a slightly macho tone. And in this sonnet, De La Vega warns of the death of beauty and youth more than anything, "before the angry time covers the beautiful summit," which shows what is really valued in its time. On the other hand, Luis de Góngora and Argote, being part of the Baroque, has in his sonnet "while competing with your hair" something more pessimistic. Góngora talks about death, not only of beauty, but also about the death of the person, “but you and that together on land, in smoke, powdered, nothing."Gongora says that not only her beauty will disappear, but also the person.
It is a different view from that of the Vega, more pessimistic, more than a baroque.
