Philosophical criticism about the Colorín Colorado book

The book tries to discover the meaning of life making mistakes to know what it is and at the same time learning teaches you to have confidence, but not be confident to be afraid, but not being fearful and also entertains you with the constant conversations between her and the writer and shows you something different.

And the truth is an amazing story that shows us that life is full of endings and eternal you begin and that it helps us rediscover the importance of living life until the end.

It is an extraordinary story that tells us about life, of the fears that paralyze us, of the desire to be free, of the importance of knowing ourselves, to investigate in the past, to understand who we are, where we come from to know where we go.

Among a princess, a dragon, a blue prince, fairies, this book makes us reflect on the moments that are experienced in our lives, how we can process them, and about what we can feel in each of them

It is a magical story that tells us about the endings and the eternal ones begin with life. Of all possibilities, of all principles and of all endings. But beyond, it makes us discover the importance of living life.

The book begins telling the story of a princess named Odai who is locked in a castle which is guarded by a dragon, with the task that the princess never escapes. She is tired of every day being the same, that something different never happens, and without the long -awaited sign that allows her to escape, the princess opens the door of her room and finally decides to face the dragon. But she gets the big surprise because the dragon is full of fear, it represents anything other than her fear, the fear of confronting life. In the end she realizes that she was herself who had been locked up by fear.

The princess convinced him to go to the huge garden of the castle. Once outside the castle, the princess discovers that sometimes it is better to leave the fear behind.

The next morning, they tried to open the door to get out of the castle, but a huge padlock surrounded the handle, so the princess began looking for shapes and tools to break the lock and leave.

After a while trying, the princess had an idea which was that the dragon blows fire to the padlock to undo it, and so it was, everything disappeared, both the fence and everything around.

The princess, accompanied by the dragon, began to feel fear, but that did not stop her, until she found a huge hole that did not allow them to continue their way. Odai began to regret what she had done, she thought it was better to have left the castle. She began to cry until she fell asleep.

The next morning, when she was calmer, she could see a bridge that crossed the great void, she didn’t think twice and she crossed along with the dragon.

By continuing the path of it, a fairy appears, who teaches him a cave, the cave of the past. The princess enters the cave and leaves it with a different mentality with which she entered. In the book compared to the cave with our memories, which are important to understand where we come from and where are we going.

When leaving the cave they find a person who calls herself "the richest man in the world", and describe him as a mature man, who lives humbly. The message trying to give is that true wealth are not material things, but that true wealth is the way of being of people.

They continued on their way they ran into an immense strawberry field and decided. He is the typical character described in other stories; An attractive, friendly man, who appears to be the ideal man that every woman would like? No, the story doesn’t end there.

Some time later they have children, the princess’s life begins to become harder, leaves aside the fantasy. Odai meets his marriage with problems. In this part of the book, an example is made with the adversities through which a couple with children pass.

It seems that the normal and what should be taken as correct is that the person responsible for the domestic tasks and the care and education of the children is the wife, only for the fact of being a woman, when in reality it should not why to be so. The right thing is that responsibilities are distributed.

Years later, with the children already great, fed up with her married life, Odai decides If he had lived what seemed like a perfect life inside the castle, now he was only alone and forgotten because his children had married and formed his life, now she was forgotten.

Odai meets a turtle, who represents prudence, he explains that she was looking for her since they went to the strawberry field, to tell her that the encounter with the prince was taken calmly and that she did not make hasty decisions without first reasoning, But he couldn’t reach it to warn him.

The message that he wants to transmit the book is more than clear, before making a decision however insignificant, first one must think about the consequences.

In the final part of this book the princess had a dream where she had seen a woman who told her to see her, and also in her dream she saw where she lived, it was difficult to find the place where she lived, but I achieved it. She arrived at a cabin and there she met an old woman who had dreamed of the princess who would turn out to be a seer; The guess told her to take time for her because sometimes she takes too much to be alone. The old woman tells Odai what she is waiting for in the future, unexpectedly, the old woman tells her that she will soon die and that there is nothing more to do, she also gave her a lesson: “You cannot control your life if It is full of cheerful or bitter moments, but you can control your availability, your enthusiasm for living, your position and the way you get up when you fail ”. The only thing you have insurance in life is death.
