Peru, a rich country hindered by corruption

We know that corruption is one of the great problems in the world and that makes it impossible for a state that seeks development, in Peru, this endemic evil that affects and drags the public and private sector, as well as the development of our State assuch, in most cases it is ignored by the authorities on duty. Through this essay, I seek to reflect the concern that we as young and citizens have, seeking to sow a seed of interest on this degrading problem, for the only and simple reason that the future of the country will fall on us.

At present, Peru is a state with infinite resources, starting from the vast productive potential, with a clear superiority to produce a sustainable industry with respect to mining, and how not to mention agribusiness, energy, forestry sector and amazing tourism. Today all these benefits, which would help eradicate poverty and where more than 32 million Peruvians could work, are won by authorities that far from investing to take advantage of our resources, pursue particular interests.

The main germ of this situation for many Peruvians also lies in politics and education. On the one hand the legislative context constantly blocked by banks in constant dispute and corruption of its officials, seeking to hide their acts of immorality. And on the other hand, the thick population does not have access to an adequate level education, lacking critical thinking and with a defeatist doctrine. Impacting this last issue in our future, defeatist training creates employees and non -entrepreneurs, perhaps does the State not invest in the educational system?

While it is true, corruption in developing countries, as is the case of ours, can be seen how the effect of bribery is suffered more rigorously, both interior and transnational. This causes stomach discomfort for most Peruvians, it is cruel and inhuman that having so many people in need there are selfish people who do not mind crushing those of low resources to be at the summit abusing the trust and power that they are granted to bedevelopment instrument.

What Peru needs most is honesty, if we know that legislation designates parties as the only instruments to access political power, but if such instruments are vitiated, little or nothing can contribute to strengthening the democracy of our nation, because corruption found open doors in the different public administrations, engaged in addressing internal security problems.

Those big problems of corruption are based on the absence of ethics. That is where this demonstrates its lack of values, such as responsibility, loyalty, respect and honesty, being a true penalty as citizens that people with such a low educational and professional quality, represent our people, legislate or monitor our lawsAnd they can reach important positions. And even if the truth is painful, the Peruvians were well represented by the outgoing congress at the time, our lack of commitment when choosing them, contributed to delay the great mega potential that we have and remaining as a state in crisis before the eyesof the world.

But all of the situation in which we are as a society, a Peruvian State that faces the unfortunate existence of a corruption network that not only crosses the Judiciary, but also the National Council of the Magistracy and the Public Ministry, where theAppointments, promotions and processes are negotiated.

How to forget, that a year ago, a shameful audio came to light where he showed the now former president of the Superior Court of Callao placing a “pro -company” judge for the benefit of an entrepreneur who was, at that time, sued in a processlabor. That is the sad reality that prevents us from having a developed Peru.

For a good time our attention is concentrated in the political field, whether by corruption judgments or for conflicts between executive and legislative powers. However, it seems that we put aside other issues also important and that maybe they connect more directly to the well -being of citizens; One of them is the labor sector.

The situations raised lead us to ask ourselves if labor law could contribute to the measures to be implemented to fight corruption. Particularly I consider yes.

However, the fight against corruption is not one day flower. It is a sustained process, long and full of conflicts, which covers all areas, it can be ensured that there is no exempt from this problem.

The pressure of corrupt structures is maintained;Anonymity and hidden management of their activities are their protection. They politicize and change. They expect the media and the population to lower their guard so that they can recycle and return to their old practices. They oppose regulatory changes and institutional restructuring. They align their interests to the righteous claims of the unions and society. Fear and insult the leaders of institutional change. They generate negative opinion before any government action to remove officials involved in the fight against corruption as fiscal full Rafael Vela Barba and José Domingo Pérez. This is a concern that is around the head of many Peruvians, which we still dream of a state worth admiring.

Why Peru being among the four biologically richer countries, with enviable energy potential and a mining reserve, cases of the greatest misery in the world are recorded, lack of work opportunities, generalized poverty in the Andean high areas and marginal urbanizationsof cities? Without a doubt, it is due to the lack of a development model and management that excludes, violent and destroys our productive capacity, among other causes that would be good to analyze them.

At this point it is also worth asking how to use resources in a ecologically prudent, economically viable and socially fair way? Naturally we should keep the property of our resources in the hands of Peruvians. It is not about being xenophobic and rejecting external cooperation, but we must bet on the fruits are shared by those who produce them.

In conclusion, to combat corruption, everyone’s participation is needed and not only of the rulers, because it is common for people to complain and claim their rights to them without demanding anything about themselves. We must take this issue very seriously from the family instilling values and disseminating honesty and responsibility.

In my opinion, all our social, economic, administrative, etc. They would decrease considerably if our levels of education were improved and moral education was added, and not only implementing subjects to promote national love, but also towards the dignity of every human being. And for this you would need prepared teachers who are able to transmit with their example and learning strategies the value, at their holistic level. We need this country to advance, but it can’t only;Everyone must put their grain of sand daily, striving to fulfill their obligations with neatness and quality, being informed to express disagreements and alternative solutions for these, thinking about the well -being of all their compatriots and not only in theirs, and fightingfor surpassing more and more, but being within the framework of the law.
