Pablo Neruda’s literary legacy

Introduction.

If there is a poet that has produced different multifaceted works and has traveled through the various paths through a true mosaic of themes, that is Ricardo Eliecer Neftalí Reyes Basoalto, better known as Pablo Neruda. Neruda’s legacy marks distinctive indications in the development of the Latin American culture of the twentieth century, because he was a man deeply identified with his time and essentially with generation 27.

Neruda’s poetry is characterized from its early periods in a very particular way of insinuating in their works, not only to the affectionate fact, but also to all social and romantic factors that allea and depart from the woman. From the beginning it is shown that the main argument is this, the woman and heads it with a particular proportion where her poetry knows how, they define it.

Therefore, I will analyze the poem IV of the poems 20 love poems and a desperate song, and as a central idea, I would highlight: the absence of the person we love, how it feels distant to be and its effects as such, sadness and melancholy when remembering. Describing the superficial structure of the poem, it is appreciated as an affective plane, the deconsolo.

Poem IV proposed by Pablo Neruda is about the undisputed love he felt towards his lovedto an ephemeral summer romance. Neruda describes a tempering morning (or the storm that arose deeply from their being) that are contemplating two eternal love with different conceptualizations of love, listening to the wind, breaking the waves, clouds, clouds.

This poetic text exalts feelings of falling in love, remoteness and passion towards the female figure that is intertwined throughout the poems, with the unique touch of Nerudian poetics. During the analysis of the poem I can denote that Neruda describes his docile attempt to appease all that intense love, through distant words, perhaps inspired by the infinite love that he cannot express, since he mentioned different feelings to which they corresponded to him. The main theme of the poem recreates a subtle atmosphere of the world of nature that occurs in the space of the "poetic self" and the beloved manifests in the natural world with an irrefutable romantic component.

With regard to the internal structure, the poem has assonant rhyme in the even verses, makes use of different literary figures: such as the anaphora in verses 9 and 11, referring to the fleeting farewell of his love12 in which reference is made to the distant effect that happened in it, after its expected first leg, the comparison in verse 3.8, expressing its intense feelings with similarity to important events, such as song and wars. And the alliteration of the letter "S" in verse 3 and finally the metaphor in the course of the entire poem using the storm of the wind to represent the restlessness of the emotions.

Subsequently, it produces an identification of this farewell through natural elements that are part of a semantic field, such as storm, clouds, wind, trees, leaf litter and birds. The poem narrates that farewell that the protagonist knew that one day he was going to arrive, that however he did not think how painful it was going to be. The feelings found that the protagonist experiences in the absence of his beloved.

It is worth highlighting the abundance The simile literary figure, a representative example is in the first verse of the second pairingPerson leaves. We also find the personification: "silence in love" the wind becomes the element that "drags" these two people and away by making their love something impossible.

Repeated sounds are the "s" and "r", respectively. The "S" is a whisper that company to silence in love and the "r" is the breakup, the appropriation of love that is unable to realize. It is summer, there is wind that destroys and strips. A nature full of life that accompanies man’s attempts for being happy. The author uses a cultured, flowery and precise language, because he uses a complex vocabulary. In addition, they appear, the multitude of literary resources that must be carefully studied to understand their true meaning.

The tone is serene, perhaps a little pessimistic in the last stanza, but otherwise expressiveness is not much appreciated, since there are signs of exclamation or expressions that corroborate it. Initially, the writer exposes a stylized, romantic reality, since it highlights the most graceful aspects of women.

conclusion.

Finally, I consider that this poem reflects the enriching knowledge of the time, since the writer demonstrates an eccentric domain over the literary current of that time. That is why I run that this poem is essential to understand the poems, since, in it, Nerudin which it makes use of magnificent literary elements.

In my personal opinion I find the relationship that Neruda uses throughout the poem in relation to the brand new nature, I find the fact that the special value that the woman must have and the truly loved one that must be.
