Participating in the various courses is a sure way of getting in touch with the dynamics of governance and performance (Moretti, 2017). An individual may participate in a series of training, but some of them may not be very helpful in the practical sense. The peer’s experiences in the various training programs are sure proof of this statement. He or she participated in a leadership course, involving the Speed of Trust program, Disc assessment, as well tools for performance management and coaching. For someone to understand the need for trust among the co-workers, there is the need to have some training on building the confidence. Through trust, team performance becomes real. For proper governance of an organization, leadership training is essential (Pershing & Austin, 2014). Team building assists a person to become a good leader, who can mobilize employees and spearhead the concept of teamwork towards the realization of the goals. For the peer, the team building training was crucial for making a leader out of him or her. The leadership of any organization is dynamic, and therefore, there is the need for the leaders to keep checking their character traits (Wagner et al. 2006). The DiSC assessment was crucial to the peer, and still applicable to all the leaders in the various organizations. There is the need for them to have insights of their relationship with other people in the company.
