Name: Professor: Course: Date: Juvenile Delinquency: A Proposal In this study, the discussion of juvenile delinquency would explore the treatment of the government on the offenders, the link between the good and the parenting styles, and the inclusion of genders. Since juvenile delinquency is a transgression fashioned and acted by the youngsters under the age of 18, the government of the United States should create a firm policy that monitor the cases of delinquent teenagers to receive specific sanctions. The punishments differ from adults since they are children who are not responsible for their criminal acts (Rutter and Giller 82). On the contrary, some country leaders treat juvenile delinquents the same as adults. In fact, this specific concern becomes harsh when the government officials do not respect the juvenile justice system treating juvenile offenders as adults to pay for their wrongdoings. In this study, the government needs to review any case that differs from the juvenile justice system and that deals with the juvenile offenders. Thus, this study seeks to answer the following: Should the government treat juvenile offenders as adults in the warrant of the crimes? Are bad parenting styles linked to the cause juvenile delinquencies? Are genders highly associated with the increasing rates of juvenile misconducts? In this research, I will find answers to the questions being raised. Using several peer-reviewed articles, educational materials, and journals, this study will bring light to the questions how the government responds to the issue and how genders and parenting styles contribute to the problems.
