Ecuador is an intercultural and plurinational country made up of 14 nationalities with its own languages and territories, and 18 villages located in different corners of our country, with time spending indigenous societies have been forced to migrate to large cities in search of better conditionslife for your family. In that process, many of them lived for several years as wasipungos servants suffering: discriminations, abuse and racism for the following reasons their way of dressing, language, dialects and lack of academic preparation.

According to the analysis by the researchers Guzmán, Manzano, Domínguez, Aroca state that the language is a principle and identity of the indigenous peoples that represents the community or region of their origin. During the process or generation the indigenous society in its migrations desists from identifying its language and native cultural roots so as not to suffer racism and discrimination, especially in the great cities of the country.

Many of them in the last censuses made are identified with different ethnicities, experiencing and worrying about the weaknesses of the ancestral language in the country during the last 10 years. This interest in recovering unworthy identity is evident in the cities of Quito and Guayaquil, cities in which they have begun to promote and strengthen through the Bilingual Intercultural Education System. The peaceful coexistence of indigenous peoples is generated by recovering that loss of ancestral languages in urban cities by indigenous migrants who have suffered big problems.
