Importance of ICTs in Criminology Sciences
To start we must know what each of these two sciences are in order to create a relevant and good character relationship for the reader.
People have come to ask on many occasions, what is criminology and how this is reflected in each of the daily aspects? Criminology is an explanatory, causal, empirical and interdisciplinary science that works with the criminal phenomenon in all aspects with both the victim and the criminal.
Something that catches my attention a lot of criminology is the way to work in harmony with other sciences in order to find the truth of crime and thus prevent it from happening in the not too distant future.
However, we must also know, what are ICT and how are you in our daily lives?
ICT are information and communication technologies today are present everywhere since you go to school to your home and anywhere in the world, because they are nothing more and nothing less than all that technology that helps youTo communicate with others, such as the cell phone, social networks, computer, radio and printing, but these have not always been what we know, since;They have evolved over the years to meet the needs of the human being and at the same time became so essential for each of them.
Criminology and ICT are two very different sciences, but that at a certain point are needed and are indispensable, which leads them to work together to seek the common good of society and benefit each of the people insideof this community.
The main relationships of criminology and technological tools for information and communication are clearly reflected in a branch of the discipline of criminology that is criminological computer science and Cyber Criminality.
According to Liliana Gallegos Contreras: "Criminological Informatics is the interdisciplinary technique whose object is the identification of illicit behaviors through computer means" (Contreras, 2019)
This wants to refer to the fact that through the media criminologists or police officers are able to identify the behaviors or profiles of the people in order to reach a valid conclusion of the facts by which the person came to commit the crimeOr in case it is suspicious of a crime, your personality can be analyzed through the things they publish on their social networks, for example;A hacker is a computer criminal because he steals information from people through the network, which leads the police and federative entities to investigate and seek the origin from which the computer crime was carried out using technology and people specialized in thisappearance.
In the same way, there is the Cyber Criminality which studies in very similar areas criminality by means of communication, however it is specifically in charge of harassment or bullying through social networks and one of its main causes is to prevent it from being carried outand look for the factors that lead the stalker to commit those atrocious acts that in very particular circumstances lead the victim to death because he cannot handle the situation in which a clear example is is:

As this case there are many others who help criminologists to create prevention measures so that this does not happen again or reduce the indices of this criminal phenomenon.
On the contrary, the technological tools of communication not only serve to commit crimes, but it helps us to resolve them through the forensic analysis processes of the computing in which it includes:
ID;which is necessary to know the history of the criminal and the factors that must be used to be able to investigate it in a few words would be a filter that is used to classify criminals.
Preservation: This is indispensable for storing the information obtained through interviews with the criminal and in the same way to protect forensic evidence that could help solve the case in which work is being.
These technology tools are very helpful to be able to conduct research and support of all the facts that are taken to be able to use them if necessary in the future and in turn it is easier to have access to them since they are already classified according to the phenomenoncriminal that is committed.
In conclusion, I can express that the technological tools of communication are essential in many aspects in what is criminology, because thanks to them you can resolve many police investigation cases.
From my point of view these two sciences should always work hand in hand since they would facilitate the work of the criminologist in many ways, because now in the 21st century people are always connected to the network regardless of the age they have, this isIt owes to the globalization that there is what it entails that the information is in the cloud, because at the time you accept the terms and conditions of each app that lower their computers, telephones or tablets are granting personal information that could be used inAny time for the Government, this can be for positive and negative aspects.
So it could be said that currently ICT is very important in criminological because it helps to improve and play their role in their field as a science given to the factors that are present in society.
