Immigration in Europe and its changes
During the last decade, Europe has been the main objective for world migrations, since according to various statistics, these have increased at high speed during the last 10 years. For example, in 2018, Spain became the first European Destiny of Sea Immigration, with an arrival of 57.250 people who crossed the Mediterranean Sea according to the IOM (International Organization for Migration).
Immigrants escape mostly due to conflicts that occur in their countries and do so by sea roads, mainly. This action causes their lives to risk, because they use boats such as pateras (small wooden vessels without little safety covers) that can hardly cross the ocean.
Additionally, when they manage to reach destination, they must face great rejection by local citizens (xenophobia), and even racism.

It turned out to be Aylan Kurdi, who had died with his brother of five, Galip Kurdi, and his mother. They were part of a group of Syrians who had sailed from the Bodrum Turkish Peninsula trying to reach the Greek island of Kos, but they could not arrive, since the boat that transported more than 30 people shipwrecked on the beaches of Turkey.
Based on the above, I consider that immigration is a difficult decision for the foreign citizen, since it requires a great effort that can often affect its integrity, such as risking its life by crossing borders illegally. It seems good to me that there are regulations before the immigration system, since this controls in some way that the people entering the country do not have a history, thus avoiding putting the population of the country that receives them at risk that receives them.
