The origin where the celebration of the Day of the Dead comes from the indigenous people who lived in Mexico when the Spaniards arrived. The country where this legend is more is in Mexico, it is said that in each municipality in the country there is a place where this mysterious woman has appeared and the tradition of spending history to children as tradition has turned the weeping one of theMost important characters of horror stories at the local level of Mexico.

The Xoloitzcuintle are native Aztec dogs of Mexico, they are considered one of the oldest races that live on the planet with more than 7 thousand years, without man having intervened in his generation. The word xoloitzcuintle comes from the Nahuatl the part of the word xologetl, means monster, strange or animal and the part of the word Itzcuintli, is mean dog. For the Aztecs, this dog was very special and respected, because they believed it was a gift from the god. The Xoloitzcuintle was believed to be the guide of the souls of the deceased traveling to Mictlán or underworld. The legend behind the dogs tells that the god Xolotl made the Xoloitzcuintle of a splinter of the bone of life, to give it as a gift to man. 

The God explained to people who in life had to take good care of that dog because the day its owner died, the Xoloitzcuintle would be responsible for guiding the soul through the Mictlán to a place of dead in Nahuatl. So that the dog can be his work the dog would be sacrificed and buried in the tombs with their owners. In the Mexican tradition he said that the dog should be completely black, because if he had spots on his body, he said that he had already served as a guide of another soul of a deceased. They were also known as healing dogs because in Aztec medicine it was customary to put the skin of the xolo on some area with pain to disappear.

This made them excellent healers of lead or muscle discomforts, asthma, rheumatism, insomnia and even malaria. But during the colonial era, these types of dogs there are no more, they looked at them as they disappeared, the dogs really took play in sections such as the Sierras de Colima, Jalisco, Michoacán, Oaxaca and Guerrero. After the Mexican revolution the Xoloitzcuintles were seen as a symbol of Mexicanity. Alebrijes are a very important part of Mexican culture and the creator of these crafts was Pedro Linares López. It all started when Linares was about 30 years old.

He was very sick and that led him to lose consciousness. When he was still in this state, on the verge of death, he had a strange dream in which he saw himself inside a forest in which they lived strange animals that accompanied him by a long road until recovering theawareness. He described that within this strange dreams where the creatures that inhabited some looked like a donkey with wings, a dog -headed lion or a rooster with a bull horns were located in a forest. Of this that had that dream not only he gave the idea of creating these creatures that allowed him to return from a deep dream and brought him to death. From his return from death.

Linares only had a purpose in which he wanted to share with his family, his friends and the rest of the world, those animals that took him has saved him. With a new periosteum in life Pedro Linares announced his work to the world, in addition to making them known throughout Mexico, he also took them to the United States and also to Europe. The year 1990 Linares received the National Prize for Science and Arts for his arts work that he made many believed they were spectacular. As sadness, Pedro Linares died on January 26, 1992 when he was 82 years old, but nevertheless the history of alebrijes does not die there, their children continue with the raising of their parents, and many other people in Mexico still today.
