Fundamentals of Management for success or organizational failure

Summary

The opinion that prevails is that managers are responsible for success or organizational failure. This perspective is known as the omnipotent vision of the administration. In contrast there are those who claim that a good part of the success or failure of organizations is due to external factors that are beyond the control of managers. This perspective is called the symbolic vision of the administration. Using a different approach, a study suggests that the concept of spirituality is explained in 3 factors: interconnection with the highest level, interconnection with human and living beings. Socialization is the process by which employees adapt to organizational culture. We need a new solidarity, equitable and more just globalization, that among the peoples there are ties of selfless union of help and cooperation that promote an order where all the inhabitants of the planet have equal opportunities and unique conditions and conditions.

  • What was the learning obtained?

In module 2 I learned a lot about the difference between strong organizational culture and weak organizational culture. I learned about the values of leadership, integrity and passion that an employee must have with his company. In it, I learned about the socialization process that the manager must do so that employees adapt to the company’s environment. Anecdotes and rituals are those actions that the company does or counts as part of its organizational culture. In this module, I learned that management although it has advantages, it also has its disadvantages, so it is necessary to exercise control and leadership to avoid a bad environment in the company.

All successful company managers face difficulties to administer in a global environment. People with close mentality do not agree that others have other ways of living and working. This mentality is a huge obstacle of managers working in a globalized business world. Systems and mechanisms are required to establish viable commercial relationships. Managers must care national culture because they cannot impose the culture of the organization in other countries arbitrarily, first it should be investigated how customs and values are managed in a certain world region.

  • What was the most difficult thing to learn?

The most difficult thing that has become difficult to learn is the difference between strong organizational culture and weak organizational culture. From my perspective, I think that both cultures have the same purpose although in different scenarios. Another thing that has become difficult is the socialization process, for me employees have to know the company better, see how it works, its structure and I think that socializing with employees is not the best of options, since some will speak wellof it and others will speak badly. Thinking better, I think the manager must teach the employee to know in depth his future workplace.

From the business point of view, globalization has brought radical changes that have served for good, but we cannot ignore that it also brought changes for evil. Globalization has been the means of integration and interdependence by which economic, political, cultural, social and technological processes have been modified, leading to a more interconnected world. However, globalization has generated a series of advantages and disadvantages that have occurred over time and that have been seen as a way to overcome limitations and offer contributions. However, it also has a counterpart whose risks are perceptible every day more.

conclusion

In the time I have read the modules, I have a clearer vision of what the functions of the manager are and how they impact the company. I have no doubt that without this figure, companies would not have a future. Today, we are living in a changing and more interconnected world, so managers have had to make adjustments according to the new needs that arise.

As the globalization process has advanced, living conditions (especially measures using broad indicators of well -being) have appreciably improved in almost all countries. However, the most benefited have been advanced countries and only some of the developing countries. Globalization has altered the costs and benefits of political elections, the instruments of politics and the balance between the options of national, regional and global policies. Economic globalization in no way necessarily translates into a decrease in the power of the State;Rather, it is transforming the conditions in which the power of that. Financial globalization does not fundamentally challenge the legal authority of the Government, but certainly challenges the autonomy of the states to establish their own political references and aspire to them.
