Free women, living women

To begin to understand why so many women scream for their rights to respect and, above all, their right to decide, necessary to know that we have been a group that throughout history has suffered a series of violations and humiliations. I do not mean only the fact that we could not vote or sign any research work with our own name, but we were, we are still, considered by some as an object that can be handled at will by the strongest. As Eduardo Galeano said: “Because, after all, women’s fear of man’s violence is the mirror of man’s fear of woman without fear."

When the debate is about the decriminalization of abortion and its legalization, the scenario presented is dichotomous. We have, on the one hand, to those who are in favor of respect for freedom of decision and health care;and, on the other hand, to those who defend the life of the nonato.

Abortion is prohibited because this is instructed to the woman who tries to flee the socially assigned role within a patriarchal capitalist society. Therefore, it is rebuked when it dares to corrupt the role of a mother that must also fulfill the demand for unconditional love that it must have to the life that leads to it, because we consider an aberrant act to try to destroy the son whoWe carry in the bowels. Thus, our ability to love and feel compassion is also questioned.

Not only biology is what determines the oppression of women, since the forms of organization of social systems give meaning to the biological. For Maria Baca Pier.

Assevering that it is the desire of every woman to fulfill that role also has a biological root, since we assume that desire as a "natural" expression of every body considered feminine based on its genitality.

In 1948, the WHO (World Health Organization) defined health as "a state of complete physical, psychic and social well -being".

Starting from this point, we can argue that the voluntary interruption of pregnancy is an argument that only encompasses only women and their rights, but in between is public health, so it is incumbent to the whole society, without distinction, without distinction.

With an integral health and sexual and reproductive framework, the abortion would surely be part of the necessary conditions so that women can make decisions about their fertility, free of violence and abuse. For its part, insecure abortion, as we saw, is not only one includes a matter of public health;but, it means a problem of equity and social justice. Since, both the risks of complications and deaths as a result of clandestine and risky practices are given in vulnerable sectors, due to the lack of resources and information.

It is for all this that the Human Rights Committee and the Committee for the Elimination of Discrimination against Women are the main UN bodies that specialize in controlling and interpreting the right to health. The restlessness that manifests on the laws that restrict abortion and the risks generated for women’s life is worrying, so they warn the review and amendment of laws that penalize or prohibit abortion.

Lily r. Flah mentions that there are various opinions of both medical and biologists, as experts in theology and philosophy, about the beginning of human life. Which are: fertilization, implementation, brain activity of the embryo, the viability of the fetus and the relationality and culture of the fetus.

While it is true that there is no unanimous consensus in the scientific community about the moment in which human life begins, many consider that in the doubt presented it is better to protect than abandon who still cannot claim their right to live. That is why, I consider that Peruvians must put this issue on the table and carry out an alturated debate to be ablePolitical Constitution of Peru and human rights enshrined in it.

It is undeniable the need we have for an open and informed discussion to end the injustice of the causes and consequences of insecure abortion and achieve a legal, safe and free abortion.

Because, we want or not, clandestine abortions occur and will continue to be given. We must look for solutions so that no more lives are lost. It is a problem that respects us all of us, as a society committed to life and human rights.

One of the solutions is to encourage sex education and not banalize it, because the consequences for adolescents are terrible. To end the cases of unwanted pregnancies and, consequently, of clandestine abortions, the responsible sexual culture and mutual respect must be developed.
