Also known as theater style seating. Awards ceremony: An event, usually formal, to honor the outstanding performance. Banquet: A formal meal offered with a complete main course and followed by speeches to honor someone. Baby Gender Reveal: Cutting the cake to the center by the expectant couple. Bar Tab: Ordering a drink and putting it on your tab. Backdrop: A drape, cloth or panel hung at the back of the stage set. Back of the House: Employees who work in the back in a way that hides their appearance from guests of a hotel. Banquet Captain: A lead person appointed by the venue who assumes the role of coordinating the food service at the event.
