Effects of revolutionary wars

Introduction.

During the Second World War. The Cold War was an economic, political, social, military, informative and scientific confrontation. According to Villares and Bahamonde: by Cold War we understand a continuous tension situation [which] launched continuous harassment strategies that incorporated military threat, ideological confrontation and economic warfare.

This war confrontation that had as main scenarios Cuba, Korea and Vietnam was called "cold war" because neither of the two blocks took direct actions against the other, that is, all “the cases of extreme tension were resolved.Villares and Bahamonde, which developed during that period of time developed in territories outside the United States and the Soviet Union.

Developing.

The term "steel curtain" (Winston Churchill) was used to define the line that after the II GM would divide the world into two antagonistic blocks: the east communist (USSR) and the west capitalist (USA. UU.), both with completely opposite political, economic and social systems. After World War II Europe was divided, the allies (United States and the Soviet Union) did not agree on how the borders should be drawn, since each of the blocks wanted to impose their government system: capitalism and communism.

Block policy: communism and capitalism

The faced blocks were two: the capitalist western block and the east communist each led by the United States and the USSR respectively. The capitalist bloc had a democratic political system, a capitalist economy and liberal ideology;that is, there was democracy in the population, there was a market economy (private companies) and freedom of expression.

On the other hand, the communist bloc maintained a totalitarian political system in which all political parties were communist, a planned economy; That is, the State regulated production and owned everything, a clear example of this are the companies that were regulated by this, and a Marxist ideology that was based on the fact that the goods had to be distributed according to needs and not by merits.

As can be seen, it was antagonistic blocks that were confronted. However, not all countries made them. Beyond these two blocks were a set of countries mostly belonging to the Third World. self-proclaimed "not aligned", in fact pure neutralism never existed and most countries that proclaimed themselves as such ended up approaching one of the two blocks.

Conclusions.

Analyzing a bit in depth how the division of the blocks in European countries influenced. According to Villares and Bahamonde (2017), the Bipolar scheme of the Cold War moved to countries especially in the area of confluence of the blocks;which caused disagreements in these to be repressed, as is the case of witch hunt in the United States.

One of the main causes that can be recognized is the enormous desire of the Soviet Union for imposing communism on the whole world, which alarmed the United States, which implemented a completely different system, this led both powers to make propaganda withThe purpose of convincing the population which of the ideals was better.
