Drugs in Mexico’s economy is a very interesting and important topic in the world. Every year the Government of Mexico loses money with the many drug cartels that sell drugs to the public. If Mexico legalizes drugs then economics rates would rise dramatically. The purpose of this article is to teach effects that drugs have on Mexico’s economy. The objective of the article is to inform readers of the amount of drugs that really control the economy of Mexico and why this is bad.

The world’s economy has always been an interesting topic for me. With the dramatic increase in drugs in Mexico, I wonder how this affects the economy of Mexico. Mexico has always had a fight to keep drugs outside the country. Even with the many drug laws that make drugs illegal in Mexico, there is still a problem. This problem has become so great that many people want drugs in Mexico to become legal so that they can pass the problem.
Most financiers say this solution presents many problems in Mexico’s economy. They say that making legal drugs would lower the price causing the countries to invest in Mexico. Investors who leave the country would cause Mexico’s economy rates to fall. As I investigated this problem I reached this conclusion.
In Mexico there are sections that make better than others. In the states of Guanajuato, Querétaro and Aguascalientes have good economic growth. In the states of Colima, Michoacán, Jalisco and Sinaloa have a low but constant economic growth rates. The states of Chiapas, Oaxaca and Guerrero have no economic growth and are in poverty.
For Mexico to have a stable economy, the GDP growth rate must be 6 percent. For Mexico to have a stable economy, the GDP growth rate must be 6 percent. As of 2018, Mexico’s GDP growth is 2.5 percent. The people of Mexico do not spend money on consumer goods that put money again in the Mexican market.

Since, public spending has decreased a lot in recent years, Mexico only depending on the private sector, which includes drug trafficking. This leads us to believe that having drug trade in the dark purpose of Mexico’s economy, is bringing Mexico’s economy down when turning foreign investors and not having a correct business cycle.
When making drugs in Mexico, with regulation, the economy could dramatically increase in value. In addition, it would free some of the prisoners in Mexico, who are in their drug possession. According to Forbes Mexico, in Mexico City it costs approximately 30 pesos a day per person for drug trafficking. This makes a great wound in Mexico’s economy, legalizing drugs could help with this.

Unfortunately, there are many people from the drug cartel involved in the Government of Mexico, this means that legalization could never come. This is because, by legalizing drugs, many drugs will decrease in the price, making drug cartels lose money. In addition, if the drug was legalized, there would be many public drug stores, which would cause drug cartels to lose a lot of business. In general, drugs that affect the Mexican economy are based on the fact that drugs are illegal.
