Driving age and adulthood

Introduction

Adulthood is the period of life in which the individual, reaches its full development, that is, it reaches their adulthood. In the case of human life, such fullness corresponds not only to the maximum development of a person’s physical or organic abilities, but to a certain psychological maturity. Early adulthood

Early adulthood begins at age 20, we begin to see our physical capacity to the maximum, we have strength and flexibility. Our cognitive capacity is also in optimal state and we begin to realize our skills and gifts, we can use them in the world around us. 

Personality features and styles become relatively stable, but changes in personality can be influenced by the stages and events that have to live. At this stage the age of majority is reached, in our country at age 21. Generally, it can be said that adulthood implies the legal presumption that there is full capacity in the individual to decide and act accordingly. 

Therefore, it implies the increase in their possibilities of action without the help of their parents or guardians or to perform acts that they had previously prohibited because of their minority of age for example, driving vehicles, marrying, buying properties or working. Decisions are made about intimate relationships and personal lifestyles, most people marry and become parents.

Physical development in early adulthood

Early adulthood covers a prolonged space, after adolescence, located between 20 and 40 years, there is, therefore, one of the stages of greater fullness in the human being. Once the adolescence crises, in physical aspects, with the acceptance of body image; the sexual, with identity and orientation; the social, when assimilating the role in the community, and the vocational, when choosing a trade or career.

In general, at this stage, the human being has sensory and psychomotor qualities that allow him to live with quality and efficiency, considering medium and long -term projects, which include the couple and the family. The experiences of this stage will give continuity to normal development in the life cycle, by giving meaning and learning to live fully.
