Introduction

With the economic crisis in the mid -80s, Spain became an immigrant country since many of the low -qualification workers were rejected by Spaniards, they were offered to foreigners.

To start talking about this topic, we will first define the difference between race/ethnicity and then in this essay we will address issues such as: How is the situation of immigrants in the Spanish market?, Works to Spanish immigrants, the types of race discrimination that exist in the labor market by the employer and do immigrant women usually have the same opportunities as immigrant men when accessing a certain job?

Today, immigration I think has served as great help over the years;I even think that his boom was the era of the "great recession";Many people came to Spain because in their countries there was a great economic crisis and this derives that unemployment rates decrease, that the active population increased.

Many people think that immigration does not benefit anything from the Spanish market, everything will be carried out, they have harmed that it has meant that many unemployed workers or people unemployed with Spanish nationality are left without jobs because entrepreneurs prefer these since they work a lotmore time and for much lower remuneration.

Here I can talk about the term "exploitation", this term refers to how a person in this case the entrepreneurs to use a person for their own benefit. That is why I am against these entrepreneurs because there are many people who emigrate from their countries to come to live in Spain because they lack economic resources, they have to pay less than the minimum interprofessional salary, they do not have the right to beRegarding Social Security, work more hours and not be paid those hours as overtime.

Some authors define several types of discriminations that these can be: "Swedish" or "Ecuadorian" according to.

The "Swedish" are discriminations that were in mind before the crisis and today they are also present;And they are those that are present in times when the economy of a country enters decline. Since it first affects the works occupied by foreigners, which those who occupy the Spaniards.

The "Ecuadorian" are discriminations in which foreigners occupy the worst jobs and many of these jobs do not correspond to the level of qualification that these have.

As we have spoken before, there are entrepreneurs who prefer immigrants than Spaniards when doing a certain job;But that is usually given in low qualification work. That with the term "Ecuadorian" discrimination as explained. There are also entrepreneurs who deny hiring immigrant people, especially those works that employees of a certain company have to be facing the public.

Well, this type of entrepreneur can, or in my opinion, I can consider them as “racist” that are those who have a series of damages for the simply fact that a person has different features, culture and types of residence.

Immigrants who suffer the most this type of discrimination are: the black race and Muslims, more specifically the woman for the simple fact of carrying a veil.

And with the excuse of "customers will not want to be treated by a person like you", already for that simple fact they are discriminating. They excuse customers when the true discrimination is from the businessman.

Many times, entrepreneurs also realize this type of discrimination, but it is still a type of "direct discrimination".

We can also find another way of discrimination that is: "indirect discrimination" that can be identified in the long term and a cause of this type of discrimination are the children of immigrant people.

In relation to young people and with being children of immigrant parents I have seen that there is great discrimination;since they are all normally when they emigrate from one country to go to another do not usually do the whole family together. If they do not usually do it separately and these can spend years so that they can meet their family if they do not suffer a loss before;that is, many immigrants when crossing borders have died.

I also want to make relationship with the above, the young non -community immigrants, are at an entire availability to work because they occupy as previously I have said jobs in which they demand low qualification or no qualification and they work in minimal conditions. It seems denigrating because these are entitled to decent job.

As for immigrant minors, we can also verify how the entire availability and flexibility that exists when doing a job, by parents, can not have a relationship with their children because they are based on finding jobs to doFaced with their family expenses and more specifically in their children’s studies and do so in a way how: moving to some of the Spanish provinces for the tourist season or agricultural, for example: the summer vacation season, collection campaigns, etc.;working during the weekend, or without weekend breaks;Working at any time, at night, without a defined schedule, piecework, etc.

But that in my opinion I am against them, because, although a person does not have enough economic resources, we must opt for the legal route because but this type of work alters the Spanish market and many times this type of work;Who takes it is not a person who lacks economic resources, but has enough resources to carry it out. Well, this is used from immigrants who come without papers to exploit them or simply perform a series of activities that, not being recorded anywhere, do not have to declare in income that money earned and therefore that money we call is “moneyin black ".

And finally I’m going to talk about the role of immigrant woman

The role of immigrant woman is very hard;Since the simple fact of being a woman is discriminated, that is, there is previously a discrimination of gender in the workplace. Women are the first to migrate mainly to guarantee the safety of their family and they have to run by performing a series of jobs that are often worse than immigrant men;because these many times work that are not facing an audience simply by the fact of carrying a burka (in the case of Muslim women) as I have explained previously and because of being a woman. One of the biggest jobs that frequent immigrant women is the waitress. Well, this does not have to be facing an audience or can also be sewing in a sewing workshop. This type of jobs is often remunerated for hours.

In this essay I have given my opinion on some of the main issues in terms of race and ethnicity discrimination. To conclude, I want to express that many times people directly or indirectly do not treat everyone equally, and this ends is the same discrimination. In recent years, I have been able to see how some trade, stores, etc. have been appearing or increasing in Spain.;They are directed by immigrants for it, many people think that they want to take our jobs when they simply come to look for a better life and to survive. Therefore, I want to ask a question to conclude this essay. Would we feel good if we went to other countries and treat us the same?
