Defining heroism in history
It is important to be clear about the meaning of hero. Commonly the hero has superhuman skills or idealized personality traits that allow him to carry out extraordinary and beneficial feats (heroic acts) for which he becomes famous. A hero is a person who performs a brave and very well grateful action.
A hero becomes a person who seeks the good of others, that is, he executes good acts for a common purpose, maintain order and save people. Through these heroic acts, the affection and respect of the people are winning, and that is how their fame as a hero is won. One of the things that stands out the most from this book is heroism, the hero of the book of the Odyssey becomes Achilles, hero of the Trojan War, son of King Peleo and the goddess Marina Tetis. A man full of value and pride. Achilles’ characteristic and prominent, which in Homer’s poem is evidenced is that he was the only immortal capable of experiencing non -trivial anger, which presents a special reference to the gods.
It can be said that Achilles is not a common hero, it is not the typical hero that we usually see in literature, he becomes a different type of hero. Being a strong man is what saves him on many occasions. But nobody knew his great secret and weakness, which was the heel, which is why he was appointed "The Achilles heel". Achilles also had its strength to fight in battles, like all the heroes, he possessed that characteristic, although it is true, being strong was what helped him many times to overcome his enemies, but the force was not enough for him toBecoming a hero, which characterized Odysseus as a hero was his immortality.
He managed to carry out his plans, because it was his immortality that helped him win many battles. We can emphasize that the hero is a being able to do many things, fight for the common good of people, has qualities that no person can have, whether physical or psychological, Achilles possessed many virtues, but the greatest was their strength. They helped him create great adventures, especially to know how to handle anger, his pride was something he also interfered, but he knew how to handle it. A hero is one that is full inside, the need to help and show their virtues, to show what they are made and show their greatness because they do not only make up with doing one thing, but with being there helping.
They defend their adventures and do justice, heroism is something that impacts me by its manipulable plot. A hero is not only someone who has physical ability, but is also able to fight using their mental values and skills.
