Critical review: a happy world

A happy world is a novel by the renowned English writer Aldous Leonard Huxley, was published for the first time in 1932. It is a science fiction story, which is mainly set in a futuristic civilization.

History recounts a genetically created civilization with a purpose and away from the "savages" (name they put to the humans "common and currents", every person who was born was going to have a responsibility for his whole life, so to the created embryoIn a laboratory certain characteristics were given so that it could achieve its purpose in life.

This story is quite interesting since, for the years in which it was written and until today, it can be somewhat fantastic but at the same time real. Because with so many technological advances, the dementia of humanity and its obsession to seek the perfection of man, I consider that this can become a reality.

I could say that the human is so beastly in many ways, always looking for perfection in everything without thinking about consequences, so I consider the human being capable of anything in order to achieve a goal, regardless of the price of this.

A happy world precisely talks about this, the society they believe has no feelings, much less concerns, all are genetically altered in order to have high quality "humans.". On the one hand it is a good idea to avoid diseases, growing our level of intelligence and being skilled for a specific thing.

The futuristic story of a happy world develops in a new global order known as the world state, a state that they themselves propose as a solution to the instability and chaos that occurred in the nine -year war, around the year 141 D. F.

After this war, the serious consequence of a great economic catastrophe arises, the powers of that time were forced to decide between a world domain or an inevitable and insurmountable collapse to which they propose a solution in which according to the alfas, the entireworld would be happy with the help of science.

The senior commands believed that happiness was achieved by making people feel like the things they did so for this reason, each individual was created to carry out an activity.

Without a doubt I can reiterate that metaphorically shows us the actions that humanity takes, at the time of doing groups and classifying us to see who is more capable of doing things or for resources who is “best person”, it is what we do at all times, the world lives full of classifications without giving importance to what is really worth it ..

People are worth the simple fact of having feelings, due to the fact that we are all born with at least one virtue and of course, also defects, but that is what makes us human, which makes us feel, live, experiment,That is what really gives us the happiness that everyone longs for.

It is true that we can be happy while we do something that motivates us, but I think that is what we must think before, so life always puts us in front of the good and the bad, it leaves us to make decisions becauseIt is part of living, in the end … What is the emotion that causes us to know what will happen to the future? I suppose that what can really cause us emotion, are the spontaneous things, things that we do not know that they will happen and although sometimes they are not good things precisely, that … that is what I call living and for the simple fact of living, know the wonders of the world around us, discover new things, that can give us happiness to the maximum

A happy world describes a utopian, ironic and ambiguous world where humanity is permanently happy, a world in which there are no wars or poverty and people are carefree, they have a good humor, they are healthy and technologically advanced.

To achieve the goal of finding "absolute happiness", what the ‘world state’ does, the entity that governs in this happy world, is the application of measures that eliminate family, cultural diversity, art, science, literature, religion and philosophy.

With the aforementioned, an interesting question arises … What makes us human? The fact of having everything in life, including health, a good job and a safe place in the social field, that is not happiness ..

According to my thoughts and beliefs, I can say that happiness is not in money, at work, much less is achieved by having a person by our side, happiness is us … our tastes, our emotions, do things that make us be inContact with the world, being happy means being well with ourselves ..

At present everyone lives so busy being "someone in life", many people kill them"But as long as we do not forget about ourselves, we have the right to read a good book, go out to Campar, be chopped by insects, wet with the rain, appreciate art and if it does well … why not have a religion?

We must clear certain stereotypes that society has imposed on happiness, a good body, a huge house, a car of the year, for some people that is happiness and okay, but others are happy being in the grass admiring the clouds, too, tooit’s okay…

Let us be happy in our way, although the world falls apart, regardless of the political situation of the country, of the problems worldwide, we can all have a time of happiness because the fact of feeling different emotions is whatIt makes us human and gives us … a happy world ..
