Brief therapy is one of the most commonly used techniques when counseling present patients who come to the counseling session with different complications. Research indicates that brief therapy shares high similarity with the long-term therapy, especially when utilized as the most appropriate technique, with the use of a clear strategic plan. The entire process is in most cases accomplished with three to ten sessions, which has become quite common in almost all fields associated with counseling. This paper discusses the techniques that constitute the brief therapy method before providing a detailed description of a useful technique when utilizing support from the materials provided in class. Analysis of the Technique Brief-therapy has a well-nourished back up from a plethora of research as one of the best techniques that help to attain the best results during a counseling session. One advantage of this technique is that the clients continue to enjoy the accrued benefits regardless of the end of the counseling program. However, research shows that these benefits tend to be higher and progressive in a growth-focussed solution when compared to the problem-focussed one. The entire technique is effective at providing the desired solution to a given problem by turning a talk between the patient and the therapist into a solution.
