Background of criminological theories in Mexico
Introduction

However, later what happened so much happened: he fell prey and was sentenced to ten years in prison for crimes against health, of the federal order, for possession and transport of illegal substances.
In a recent EQUIS report, entitled drug policies, gender and imprisonment in Mexico: an inclusive public policies guide, realizes the increase in the number of women imprisoned in the country for non -violent illicit linked to drug trafficking. The data show that in two years the number of detainees for these grew 103 percent after 940 cases reported in 2014 to 1911 for 2016, many of them suffer violence before or during their confinement.
The crimes against health at the federal level represent 43 percent of the cases of women in prison and are the first cause of imprisonment. They are generally condemned for possession, sale or transport of small amounts of drugOrganizations.
“Drug punitive policies have disproportionately affected women. Many of them are poor and enter the market for despair, lack of opportunities or coercion (their partners or other people). In this criminal conduct that in my opinion belongs to the criminal crime, it is a social problem that is born in society and that must find in society itself the tracks and formulas of solution. A scientific analysis of the crime must pursue, therefore, in addition to the punishment of the offender, the search for the explanation of the criminal event, and its effective prevention. Rather, create public policies aimed at creating sustainable communities in order to exploit the resources offered by the state of Oaxaca and specifically in the Tehuantepec Isthmus region.
In sum, in addition to the punishment of the offender, which, in this case, is for the crime that affects the community as a whole (health damage) the search for the explanation of the criminal event, and the damage caused and its effective preventionAnd control should not only try to enforce the law but look more thoroughly. According to EQUIS data, they point out that in prisons there is a large female population and it is estimated that the population increases in similar cases, to those of (Gaby) observing that it is not committed to eradicating or minimizing the situation but only is aimed at punishmentbeing that public policies should be created to prevent these criminal events that originate from women in these communities and others in the territory to enlist to enter these criminal activities.
