ANTIGONA, Book of Ancient Greece
Antigona was undoubtedly one of the most important books of ancient Greece, is written by Sophocles one of the greatest playwrights of the time, approximately in 441. C; Sophocles was recognized in Ancient Greece as one of the most important writers, because he wrote a story which was narrated in different books which were: Oedipus Rey, Antigona, Oedipus of Colono, in which a one tells us about Oedipus a man who was king of Thebes and marries his own mother.
In Antigone the story of the children of Oedipus is told, since he is decided to leave his mandate and is exiled, upon learning that he had married his own mother, when Oedipus leaves, the two sons of Oedipus enter a fight , Eteocles and Polyinice, this war begins since Eteocles proclaims himself as king of Thebes, exiled to Polinice, this furious decides to attack Thebes, killing his brother and himself; Because the king had died, I think he assumes you the role of king, and his first decree is that his eteocles is buried dignity, on the other hand, he will be left to the interjar so that the dogs eat it, ” The rule of not buring traitors was a law in force at that time and the tyrant only follows the mandate ”(S.A, 2016)

In my opinion this text is very important since it tells us about how Creon, in his arrogance and his pride, prefers to risk the life of his loved ones, all for not wanting to bury Polyinice.
