This newspaper shows the reality of those times. Of the indiscriminate treatment towards the Jews who were denied the egalitarian rights that the other citizens had.

Some Jews seeing that Hitler went up to power decided to migrate to other countries, although the majority that stayed were forced to go to concentration camps, and few managed to flee before being captured by the Gestapo.

Ana Frank, a Jewish teenager, led a normal life with her family, her father Otto Frank worked in her own company, her mother was dedicated to domestic chores, Ana and her sister Margot attended school as all the girls of herage. However, the situation changed abruptly since the war was around its country, Holland.

Due to many rumors and press news Otto Frank had elaborated a plan B, in case the war reached them;To carry out this he agreed with a couple of their employees who were of intimate confidence to help them;So Frank in advance began to take a lot of necessity to a secret hiding place where he would soon have to hide with his family to protect his physical integrity and not be captured.

In 1940 the incursion began in Holland, and the Jewish people began to make discriminatedto which many rights were removed; Then things got worse and the Germans began to capture many Jews and took them to the concentration camps.

In view of the risk that Otto Frank ran determined that on July 16, 1942 they were going to flee to their hiding place. A secret annex that was located at the back of the building where your company worked. Right in the center of Amsterdam.

On July 12, 1942, Ana turned 13 years old. His father gave as a gift a beautiful newspaper he called Kitty, this newspaper became his confidant friend whom he always went to write everything he thought and felt, they made a small party with his friends. The next day a citation arrived in which Otto Frank had to appear in the Westerbork Transit field days later.

An Otto Frank’s sister wanted her nieces Ana and Margot to go to London until the war passes, but her father did not want to separate from them, they decided to be together what happens.

Frank Miep and Jack’s trusted friends were the ones who gave them everything necessary for coexistence in the annex, after a few days the Van Pels family also joined them and later Mr. Pfeffer a dentist of the town, inTotal were 8 Jews who were hidden in the secret annex.

Once in the hiding place all the members had to hold on to the rules of coexistence since during the day they did not have to make noise, they even had to walk barefoot so that the workers of the office that worked underneath were not suspected, there were also other businessesNext to the building so all day they had to go unnoticed. The days passed in the annex, Ana became a lady, she felt sad and at the same time happy, she always dreamed of being a woman and who considered her as such.

Ana had a strong character, she was energetic she liked to express what she felt, although sometimes she hurt others with her words, especially with her mother with whom she had many discrepancies, there was no relationship of mother and daughter. Edith Ana’s mother showed more appreciation for Margot her other daughter, Ana realized that and made her feel sad, however, who filled all her gaps with loneliness was her father whom Pin told him, with the yesI had a beautiful relationship. He did understand her very well and Ana showed her and told her father that he loved him more than anyone.

The coexistence with the Van Pels and the dentist was not cordial either, there were many discussions for anything exploded the fight even for the bad distribution of the food. However, they had to support each other because they had no other way out.

In November 1943 Ana dreamed that the war ended, wanted to leave, breathe freedom, missed everything in the outside world. She said that after the war I wanted to travel, study languages and above all she loves to study history.

Ana and Peter met during the stay in the annex, they were having a small romance, just at 2 years of being in the hiding place, Peter gave him a bouquet of flowers as a gift from his 15 years.

For Ana it was no self-preparing obstacle studied shorthand, mathematics, English, he was fascinated to read, read many books, he loved imagining stories with the people who looked to pass through the streets. To get a little distracted, he climbed into the attic, a place that served as a pantry, there he began to look at the sky.

Just at the 2 years of being hidden a lady of the Delato, I call the police and the denunciation immediately arrived the Gestapo in the hiding place, they gave them 5 minutes to make their bags and then they were transferred to the headquarters of the Gestapo, then to the field ofTransito Westerbork, once there they had to register and start doing forced labor and living in inhuman conditions.

After a few days in that concentration camp they were transferred to another field with other Jews on a train, once the train parked the Jews were abruptly and treated in a violent way, the families were separated and dispersed in different groups,It was a very difficult and painful situation in particular for Ana and her father who were separated.

Then they undressed the women and violently turned their hair violently, they lived in antihigien. Two weeks later Ana and Margot were transferred to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where Margot seriously ill due to bad conditions and in February 1945 died.

A month after Germany’s surrender many people could return home. The only one who managed to survive from the Frank family is Ana’s father, who later through Hana an Ana’s friend learned that her wife Edith had died due to lack of food, and Ana and Margot also died of epidemics.

Otto Frank, returned to hiding and there he met his friends and Miep gave him the newspaper Ana had left. And after two years he published them.

conclusion

The diary of a girl as young, only 13 years old, was a very important source of information for those moments in history, since she not only tells her anecdotes, feelings, her private life and the situation in which she lived as a refugeeof the Nazis, but also makes us realize about how the situation experienced thousands of people in those times so difficult for war. Through this newspaper, being published as the last desire of the little girl, we realize how hatred, the feeling of superiority and discrimination can dehumanize people to the degree of killing so many innocent people.
